Note: This was at significant range. There is a reason these are called "less-lethal" rather than "nonlethal." You can easily maim or kill somebody if you hit in the wrong place or the person is too close.

That watermelon burst NOT because of the muzzle blast. The manufacturers of these rounds have very specific "do not use at less than X feet" guidance. If you don't know what you're doing, these are as less lethal as the real thing. Notice Scott never gets within 50 feet of his lab animal- that is why.

These have very little recoil, maybe a quarter of the real thing. That's part of why the are "less" than the real thing, but witness Mr Watermelon's headache. These are nothign like a paintball or airsoft.

the beanbags are lead shot in a kevlar bag , they're significantly heavier than the rubber rounds so they do more damage

Sorry but you are very wrong about airsoft restrictions, I played on a competitive team here in Canada and I own over $9,000 of full metal replica airsoft guns, no orange tip or anything, please stop spreading misinformation that makes Canadas laws sound worse than they already are.
