Thanks for the overview. We already use Campaigns and the overlap of functionality looks very large. Why would anyone use marketing automation vs zoho campaigns? It is just journeys that is different?

Hi Mr. Fish! Actually, the journeys are the exact same as well! Marketing Automation has some functionality that is inherently different from campaigns, but that stems from the ability to create website sign-up components & pop-ups. In addition, it has some more well-rounded features for tracking specific website features and creating goals around what you want your audience to do in the end. Whereas campaigns are used in conjunction with CRM and all the CRM features can be used to compliment it. Marketing Automation was created to be it's own standalone tool that didn't need any other components to be used to compete with the likes of Salesforce and Hubspot. We hope that helps!

@@mrfish4572 On the left-hand panel do you see "Automation"? That is essentially the same thing as Marketing Automation's Journey. I can't add screenshots here but feel free to email us at [e-mail] and we can chat there as well.

Running into a problem, wondering if you know the solution. I've imported contacts from Zoho CRM and there is no way to assign a topic upon import. Because the leads don't have a topic assigned, they are being ignored by the workflows that are supposed to be sending them emails automatically (like an autoresponder series). Do you know of anyway to get a topic auto assigned to an imported lead??

Hi Amanda! When you select the Import from Computer you should have the option to choose the topic you want to assign them to. You should see the Upload csv option, then be able to select the mailing list, the subscription type, then you'll have to option to assign the topic you'd like for that list of leads you import. That should do it for you :).

@@Clientric thanks! I was able to get an answer from customer support that basically said the same thing. The problem was I was syncing from the CRM side which didn't have the topic option. Pulled it up on the campaigns side and fixed the issue. 😊

Hi There! Thanks for your comment. In order to set up Zia voice you can go to CRM, click the settings, under Zia option select Conversational AI. Then you can set up your questions so that she will do whatever you ask :). Let us know if you have any trouble setting this up!
