love the series. He is one of the best urban fantasy authors I read. Looking forward to the next Dresden Files book :)

I've bin waiting for ever but its worth it. I re listen to the audiobooks each year and each time a new book comes out. James marsters does a great job so much that i buy the book's for my shelves but listen to them on audio instead of reading myself

I love the series ever since the first book came out. (I used to buy every new fantasy paperback that cane out in my country before i had a fam) i love lotr hp's and the legend of the seeker but i just love the dresden files i re read and re-listen them each year over and over i love it so much.. sad the series didnt take but love the way james masters give life light and picture to the story with his voice. Also glad the decided to redo the 1 book james couldnt at that time. Enough fans complaint that i think there stuck with james until the end.

For some reason, I'm picturing Toot-toot being the one to give Harry a fedora.

Great audio! And I'm not being sarcastic, I love echoes and deep garbled base, so great! I'm going to listen this whole thing again just to enjoy the fantastically distorted audio. Well done guy, thanks for going all out to bring us fans such a wonderful recording, it's much appreciated! The next best thing to being there, wait what am I saying your audio artistry makes this even BETTER. 😀👍

Why did they stop the Dresden Files Series on TV. Will it ever come back, or is there a movie in the works. Thanks

+John Barber Basically it failed and got canceled. Not enough people watched it at the time it came out. Maybe another production company might have given it more time to find an audience, but oh well. As far as I know, no movie.

+Eric Trautmiller Jim Butcher covered it in an interview but they continued other T.V shows with lower ratings at the time. He thought it was an internal problem.
@TanzyaNZ8 жыл бұрын
they changed heaps then wondered why no one liked it (the writers had never read the books and read the cliff notes for the story that they put into the show and wikied the charterer names)
@ARandomGuy248 жыл бұрын
TanzyaNZ Books fans only make up a small percent of people watching the any show. It wasn't cancelled because nobody liked it. There were shows with lower ratings getting continuations. Again Jim theorized that it was cancelled because of internal problems.

Little dogs are awful(although of course they still deserve love and respect as do all of our animal companions.). I love all animals, but ankle biters always have terrible personalities. Big dogs always have good mellow personality. Thats really good of Mr Butcher to let animals alone on his land. So many people would try to poison coyotes and foxes. What a kind man he is.

The audio isn’t great, but it’s more than good enough to understand. My hearing sucks and it’s fine. Ignore the haters.

While we settle in for the long wait for the next book, I invite fans to enjoy a completely free novel set in the Dresden verse. Just Google Warlock of Omaha.

His ex taking half the rights to the Dresden files really kinda sucks... Plus who even knows what steam punk is?
