"Dr. Grady S. McMurtry is an American Christian apologist who focuses on the areas of biblical creation and creation science. Dr. McMurtry earned his B. S. from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville; an M. S. from the State University of New York, Syracuse; and a D. D. from the School of Theology, Columbus, Georgia. He is a Regent and Adjunct Professor of the School of Theology, Columbus, Georgia; Life Member of the Creation Research Society; and a member of the Mensa Society.
McMurtry was an evolutionist for 20 years, a theistic evolutionist for one and a half years, and has been a biblical creationist for 35 years. He has made hundreds of appearances on radio and television; lectured in universities, colleges and schools; and spoken in churches worldwide. Unfortunately it's difficult to take this man seriously. When asked about entropy in an open system, he rambled on about the fact that closed systems don't exist within the universe. That's unrelated to the question. The point of the question is that, in an open system, with inputs of energy, you will potentially see pockets of decreased entropy. Imagine a human sticking their hands into Grandma's button tin and organizing the buttons by color. For our planet, the sun is the input of energy that's temporarily decreasing entropy in this tiny pocket of the universe. The question was a test of this man's knowledge, and it was a sufficient demonstration of his superficial understanding of very basics facts. And that's a fair summation of everything else he had to offer.

No, there’s a distinction, between the inbuilt entropy and cutting off the fuel supply, of living organisms, that you failed to understand. Saying photosynthesis decreases entropy, is like saying breathing and eating decrease entropy. They don’t decrease entropy, they sustain life, there’s a difference. Entropy is something that happens, in spite of all the processes and mechanisms that sustain life. As death still occurs, no matter how much photosynthesis, berating and eating goes on. Death still finds a way, to defeat all living things, bc of Entropy. The only way to break the loop is with Jesus Christ, who defeated Death so that through him we may live forever. Plus, you’re pointing to a complex process that’s a Design feature, not a naturalistic feature. So you’re arguing from Denialism, aren’t you? There’s a Law of self evident craftsmanship that compels the Intelligent Design conclusion and excludes non ID/Naturalism.

I honestly don't know how you expect anyone to take this discussion seriously when at the 10:35 mark, Dr Grady states that evolutionists believe that things are getting "bigger, better, faster, stronger". Imagine attending a debate about the biblical flood, but the proponent begins by asserting that the Earth is flat. This statement undermines their credibility and casts doubt on their ability to engage in meaningful discussion. It's like trying to navigate a sailing competition with someone who relies on outdated maps and misconceptions about the shape of the Earth. Before discussing the flood, it's crucial to correct this fundamental misunderstanding about scientific facts. I'm not going to commit an ad hominem by saying that nothing past the point the Grady states is worth considering, but that's a large enough flaw that I certainly wouldn't listen beyond that point without at least being provided with a response as to why he would assert he is not misrepresenting evolution with that statement.

If Jesus is God, why does the Bible say that he’s a man? “There is one Mediator between God and men, the MAN Jesus Christ.” Notice that the Bible never used the term ManGod, or Godman, or refers to Jesus as God. God has a name, Yahoveh. Jesus has a name Yahshua. So what is the name of the Holy Spirit? If the Holy Spirit is also a third person of a Triune Godhead.

"Let there be light" is speaking light into being. The sun spewing light, stars spewing light, is them spewing something. God created that something with his Word. We don't need to learn dead languages to understand this. The wise and just God translated the Word into a language we can understand. We don't need go between scholars. We don't have to spend thousands of hours learning dead languages and ancient cultures.

They simply aren't in it for truth and as a result either don't care or aren't aware that they're stringing inconsistencies and fallacies along. For example he said that a unitarian god couldn't interact with its creation because he doesn't have experience, then right after telling us that a triune god gets experience from being a family unit (father, son, and spirit - which is a foreign concept of a family), he then said that God doesn't need experience to create. If arguments can be built up on made up elements and entities without any reality to them, then how meaningful can they really be? No theological argument can take precedence over a naturalistic argument. That's just simply a logical fact. If so the different flavors of Theists that exist can't reconcile down to one, they all aren't even qualified to face a naturalist. They're all just faith story fans trying to use that as explanations for real things

So Christianity is the only true religion because of scientific accuracy and being most rational as for the scientific accuracy not sure whether you want to go down that route because there are many scientific claims against the bible as well as for rationality, pure monotheism always trumps trinity every day of the week
