Wow! Yes!! What an amazing use of digital media! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 When our son Josh was young, we went to hear Dr. Don Chittick speak about dinosaurs. We bought one of his books on Creation. That was about 1987.

Denominationalism wasn’t part of Gods plan look at the religious world. Do we see the unity for which Christ prayed? Do we see the harmony that is in heaven? Can we picture the Father being a Pentecostal, Christ a Lutheran and the Holy Spirit a Mormon? Or can we imagine the Paul establishing the Methodist Church while Peter is working to begin the Baptist Church, and at the same time John is planning to establish the Presbyterian Church across town? That gives us the picture of one believing that baptism is by immersion, another believing it is by sprinkling water, and the third not even practicing baptism at all. That's a far cry from what Christ prayed for. And that means that what we have in the religious world is the opposite of what Christ prayed for. Yet we have people who thank God for all the denominations. Are they thankful for the division and confusion that denominationalism has brought to the world? But division is not from God, "for God is not a God of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints" (I Corinthians 14:33). Furthermore, in Christ's prayer for unity, we note that he stated that if his followers are "one," the result will be "that the world may believe that Thou didst send Me" (John 17:21). Now, if unity promotes belief, then what does the division and disunity that is prevalent produce? Multitudes have been "turned off' by the division that exists, and have turned away from God in disbelief. The point is that in the beginning, there were no denominations. It didn't matter whether you were in Jerusalem, Rome, Philippi or Corinth, the church was the same. Oh, there were problems in the local churches, but when Paul was traveling and went into a town looking for Christians with whom to worship, he didn't have 75 denominations from which to make a choice. There were not even two denominations. There was only one body, which was not a denomination. Now, a large city might have more than one local congregation meeting in it (cf. Romans 16:3-5), but they were of the same kind. They all followed the same creed, the Word of God, as it was proclaimed by men inspired by God, and as it was being recorded for future generations. The foundation of their faith was in this Word, for "faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ" (Romans 10:17). Galatians 1:6-9 KJVS [6] I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: [7] Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. [8] But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. [9] As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

I see that developing a scientifically sound young earth model didnt make Ken's list at all. I'm sure that the actual science part does little to generate revenue but it is very telling that your science team and its research was not mentioned at all. If your interpretation of the bible is actually correct, then your team should be able to demonstrate it with a model that has superior predictive and explanatory capabilities, that can more effectively explain the countless pieces of evidence seeming to point inexorably towards an ancient earth and universe, and that doesn't have to invoke extrabiblical miracles in order to make it work. Unfortunately, your current approach is not delivering. Even settling for something much less complex, like providing evidence to conclusively settle the surprisingly still open question in creationist circles around which rock layers represent the pre and post flood boundary. Something like that would at least demonstrate progress. Also Ken, you are wrong about scientists and science communicators not being willing to debate. There is a thriving ecosystem here on KZbin that does an amazing job in thoroughly debunking YEC claims. "The whole creation movement is about biblical authority..." See, thets the problem. You claim biblical authority is the Truth but you seem rather unable to show it. Fairground attractions arent gonna cut it.

What Ken said was that talking specifics about Evolution vs. Creation in church settings did not get the responses that explaining the importance of Genesis did. To a non believer it would probably be different. As far as debates go it is obvious that evolutionists don't want to publicly debate creationists anymore. In your comment the only issue you brought up was which sedimentary layers are pre vs. post flood. They are all post flood. Do you want to talk about evidence that the solar system is young? Soft tissue found in supposedly millions of years old dinosaur remains? Geology problems with the claims that the sedimentary layers were laid down over millions of years? The complexity of so called simple life and DNA? The problems with the dating methods? Why there are new problems with the Big Bang theory every time a better telescope is made? Do you have a reason to reject God out of hand?
