Which knot do you think is best when making a dog leash?

Honestly either one would work well. The knot on top of your ppm isn't what determines the strength of your leash, but rather how you stitch and/or glue the ppm under the knot. The second one is most commonly used, but I have used about 10 different knots over time to finish a leash and all hold up great. I personally do not use the 3rd option in this video anymore on my leashes as I find it not the ideal way to finish a leash because of the shape of the knot, but if you like that design best it will work well. Another knot I like a lot on leashes is a diamond knot around the ppm in different colours or just in 1 colour. Gives a nice grip to the leash too.
