I LOVE that show... and once you try your own you know how freaking skilled they are. It's amazing. I haven't watched Landscape Artist of the Year, but it's on my list, for sure. They are incredible to watch.

Ohhhh interesting. They are trying to sell something? Yeah that’s not my vibe really either. I do understand though that making a living as an artist can be challenging and they may see KZbin as an opportunity to reach a much larger audience. My philosophy is if it’s not your jam just move along. No biggie. And Gaynor and Sandy are just absolutely wonderful and balance the need to sell work/classes with being genuine and generous to the viewers. Tricky balance that they seem to have gotten right!

Me, too - in my paintings. I've been trying to find my voice and style as an artist, and her process and style are the closest I've come to what feels like ME. My work and materials will be different, but it's that loose, playful, experimental style that I just love. Plus she is just so cheerful and charming.

Wonderful! She is, by far, one of the most energizing artists I've experienced on KZbin. I think you might also like Gaynor if you like Sandi. AND you would probably LOVE Emily Powell. She's more active on Instagram, but she is wonderful, too. So happy to have introduced you to Sandi!

Thank you for sharing. I follow many art channels many for instruction, some just because I enjoy watching them or the finished product. These I think give the best information: Carey Alvez Art Academy Drawing & Painting - The virtual Instructor Draw Mix Paint There are a few more, but I can't remember the name of the channels. One is Margot Hallac, another is Andrew something and there is a lady that is very helpful with using pastels. Here are three more that I can recall off the to[ of my head: Gary Frederick - Whimsical line and wash Stephen Travis Art - Ink drawings Alphonso Dunn - also Ink There are many, but KZbin doesn't seem to have a way to get a list of ones subscriptions. I'll also be checking out some of other commenters suggestions also. Peace, out.
