How do you find inspiration on a photoshoot that doesn’t go according to plan?

It is rare that there isn't SOMETHING of interest to photograph, somewhere! Sometimes the things that don't go as planned result in some of the BEST "Happy accidents" and serendipitous shoots! Be open minded, pay attention to everything nature delivers for you--- and experiment! The creative juices really do come out when you slow down, explore your surroundings, and have an open mind to the possibilities of everything around you!

Thanks so much for this video, very eye opening. I understood what you are teaching here, but do you have suggestions for an app or other means of putting the collage together? It seemed like you had some sort of template which you just placed the photos into. You make me want to come to Alaska. Some day!

I simply use Photoshop!

This is an awesome video; I’m watching it for the second time. I do a lot of different photography but birds are my main subjects. Eventually I would like to make some money with it and you give some great ideas to try. Thank you.

Great ideas here. Thanks Lisa and B&H! - aside, what is being used for the collage prototype-planning? Just resizing as new layers in PS?

Thanks for the insteresting video. I learn something from here. However, it would be good if this video can show the steps in photoshop to make an image look more vintage?

Hi Tejatan, thank you for the kind words! I unfortunately only had 30 minutes so there wasn't enough time for Photoshop instruction, too, but I do teach classes in that online with 1:1 feedback if you are ever interested!
