Creative Drum Mixing - Saturated Drum Tones!

I'm going to show you how you can transform your lame raw drum tones into some crunchy saturated beats that will blow your speakers apart...
well maybe not that crazy.. haha
I've really been enjoying some of the tones on Olivia Rodrigos album Sour - especially some of the drum sounds. This tutorial is based on achieving a sound similar to that of "Deja Vu".

Sounding sick man! Thanks for the great video. Do you ever use distortion on your drum bus in a more subtle way just to add some “fatness” to the sound? Maybe blend in a small amount?

Thanks mate! Yeah absolutely, I find soundtoys radiator does a good job of that or even decapitator in the “N” style with a tiny bit of drive make it all sounds a bit thicker
