The Half Rectangle Trim Tool from Creative Grids® makes half rectangle units in seven different sizes. Make the half rectangle units with either a right or left slanting seam. Cutting chart is printed right on the tool, along with trim lines for perfect half rectangle units every time. A & B trims make it easy to line up the triangles for sewing. Since half rectangles have a different angle than half square triangles, an extra 1/8in indent is added in the final trimming so that when sewn into a project, the seam lines will go corner to corner.

QR code goes to kitty corner ruler!!

When I use the QR code on this ruler, it takes me to the Kitty cornered ruler, not the half triangle trim tool

Can you pick any size rectangle such as a 3" x 2" square?

to pick any size you need traditional square or rectangle ruler. In my opinion it is totally waste of money and much more work. Can you imagine to reposition that ruler so many times just on one piece? They absolutely have no new ideas to share,so sad some people fall into it.

Split rectangles have specific dimensions: they are 2 time tall as wide.
