Thanks for a wonderful video. I just got my first Distress Inks and I find that using a make-up sponge triangle helps me create more subtle color.

Love the look of your journal! Thank you for sharing with us :) ..I found planner perfect method didn't work for me (and inserts are way too thick). Love how you gave it your own spin and still made lists..lists are not a bad thing especially when she says over and over that her PP isn't her journal lol...looking forward to seeing your future journals!
@nancyzarroli86098 жыл бұрын
G3brenda, thanks so much! I don't do the Planner Perfect method but I do like the inserts. You have to find the system that works for you!

You can use some mink oil and it won't necessarily cover up those marks of character but it will deepen them and the overall tone of the book and make it look even more beautiful.

first off all, i love your work! the use off colors and arrangment off embelishments is so neat :) i was wondering which journal/sketchbook you would advice for working with copics (and other media preferably)? i like a soft cover and prefer A5 size. any ideas?
@nancyzarroli86097 жыл бұрын
I'm so sorry I'm just seeing your comment! Unfortunately, I don't work in A5 size so I don't have any advice! Maybe check out Moleskine or Peter Pauper Press. I believe they make A5 size but I'm not sure about the quality of the paper for sketching. Thanks for watching!

Omg it's so gorgeous!! I'm just getting into stamping and watercolor and was wondering what brands and certain products you suggest to start out with even if it's like 5-10 different ones 😊 I really want to get good products like watercolor and stamps and like what you use to make your pages so colorful and fun!! If you could suggest some things that would be wonderful 🙏😍

What brand of watercolors did you use for most of the backgrounds, especially the softer tone pages?
@nancyzarroli86097 жыл бұрын
So sorry I'm just responding! My favorite water colors are from Jane Davenport and Prima (they have small, traveling sets) but I used cheapie water color that I bought at JoAnns for this particular notebook!

I do not like the Tim Holtz dopers either. What I do is pour a little but on my pallet and use a paint brush. :)
