How can I configure the Guide Lamps to illuminate for both the Right and Left hands on 2 tracks? Currently, the guide lamp is only displaying for one track without any apparent reason.

I purchased the 701 a couple of weeks ago and am very impressed with its capabilities. Currently, I find that I spend a lot of time trying to explore some functions. For instance, there is nothing to tell me if I can play the songs in the downloaded "Music Finder". Is this for registering styles only? Can you recommend a good reference book that I can purchase that is more comprehensive than the "Owners Manual" and the "Reference Manual?

Hi there. I just purchased a CVP 701 for the school where I am working - trying to record onto USB but it stops after about 38 seconds and then I get message saying "The USB flash drive cannot be used temporarily" - I have tried several different flash drives ( free of data ) and made sure they were formatted to the CVP-701 but the same thing keeps on happening - is it me, or do I need to call tech support ? ( Could be difficult due to my location at the moment.)

Try using a smaller thumb drive (1-4GB MAX) with no data or folders in it. That should solve the problem.
