Thank you so much for the video. I bought a 705 2 weeks ago, and am waiting for it to be delivered. I had a clp545 and sold it for the cvp 705. I am a 2nd year piano student who had never played before. Great video.

I've just bought this digital piano. I was worried because I noticed that once of the follow lights is always on unless playing the guide mode. However, I feel better after watching this video because I can see that it is not my piano's problem. The piano on this video has the same follow light on before he started playing the teaching mode. I don't know why is this though. Anyone?

What is the difference in the c v p 705 and the yamaha avant grand? Dose the avant grand have software to learn to play the piano?

Is there any difference in key action between CVP 705 and CLP 585? I am in two minds whether i should buy CVP 705 or CLP 585... I know CVP 705 has lot's of features, but from pure piano playing experience, are they same or there is something more to consider..

Hi Shailesh - the keys feel pretty similar, but the sound speaker system on the CVP-705 is definitely much better than the one with the CLP-585 if that helps.

Clavinola CLP, CVP, CPS...what are the practical differences?

BIG PICTURE: CLP stands for CLassic Piano. Has some voices, maybe some rhythms, but it's mostly a piano first. The "V" in CVP is for VERSATILE. This is where you get all the extra stuff like what you see above. CSP is kind of an in between (nice library of voices) but is "Simple" with onboard controls, relying heavily on iPad connectivity. Like the CVP, it also has the "follow the lights" feature.
