I am smiling, picturing the thousands and thousands of friends and loved ones who are going to receive vellum Christmas cards this year! So many of us cardmakers are certainly going to use these techniques to, as you say, "share handmade kindness" this holiday season and spread a little cheer! I think this might be my all-time favorite Jennifer McGuire video...never really have known what to do with my vellum. These are beyond-words wonderful.

I love the idea of a card made of vellum, it looks very noble and has this timeless elegance. A neighbor of my parents' died this week (she was 93, I've known her all my life) and I made a condolence card with this technique. It looks so beautiful, I think the vellum gives it a softer look, whereas normal paper/cardstock sometimes can come across rather harsh.

Oh my goodness, Jennifer ... I've just watched this for the third time and am still overwhelmed with how much info, technique instruction and joy you've packed into the video! 😮😃😍❤️❣️ Sweet girl, you have seriously outdone yourself this time - thank you! 😍😘 I still have my trusty heavyweight vellum from a year ago when you convinced me I could use vellum as brilliantly as you, but now I have a whole year of cardmaking under my belt (or atop my tray table) to do it justice ... I think. 🙃😜😂 Big hugs for your weekend and I hope your family time was enjoyable! 🤗❤️❣️

I just LOVE your video's, but apart from everything that has been said before... you know what sentence I love MOST about your video's? "Let's have a look at the completed card first...." That, to me, is so logical. But somehow also the best kept secret among many youtube card makers, lol! So many tutorials out there start with someone just creating a card without showing the final result first. Only to find out at the end of the video you actually don't like the final design of the card, haha! So now I just fast forward to the last few minutes of the video to see what it is actually about and what will be created, only to scroll back again to start the video (ot skip it right away) So thank you, for ALWAYS showing the final result first. Never stop doing that! But somehow I don't think we have to worry about that too much ;-) (Excuse my english, I'm from Holland)
