I love the video & concept but I have to say by using the 'Appearance' panel you cut the first 19 minutes down to 2 and highlight one of the advantages of Affinity over others.

Nice man. How do you like affinity compared to illustrator? I'm looking for the best solution to ditching Adobe. I'm thinking affinity for art and DaVinci for video editing.

Thanks Cam, affinity is cool just hasn’t got all the features of Adobe but I think it’ll grow. It’s almost like having the early version of illustrator. So not quite there yet... but moving. DaVinci looks cool, the problem is you buy all these plugins for one editor then you are like daaaam, start again. Good to see your latest vids 😉. I'm on windows and alot of the shortcuts doesn't apply to me. Like one of the first, convert to outlines...still haven't figured out how to do it

Is there any reason for why you copy objects multiple times just to add different strokes to each of the copies? You could just use the appearance panel and assign as many strokes as you wish to the original object instead. This will keep your layer panel clean and you don't have to worry i. e. about accidentally moving an object without its copies.

Was wondering the same thing, as in affinity we can go back to hist and alter it right from there. However it seems I am not able to ungroup my word, using cnd shift g, could you you please tell me where to locate its setting ?

That’s some technique bru.. In photoshop I would probably just use the text, Do inner glow on a solid color and no feathing, then a Stroke & Outer glow - Also no feathering. I’ll check how close I can get it 😁
