Really helpful, thanks. Just wondering what you think of lush’s patent as it relates to embeds of a different recipe/vigor than the outer layer?
@CreativeBathLab5 ай бұрын
Great question. I've read Lush's patent and as long as you don't put a vigorous mix INSIDE a slower mix, you should be good. You can still put different mixes in the bath bomb in other ways. However, with that being said, I don't see them going after a smaller company for patent infringement. If you're not a huge company that could rival their sales, I don't see them caring what you sell. But I don't know for sure.

Hi Dora! If you were to put the guar gum and SLSA into one mixture, what would the reaction be? Would the reaction be extra bubbly foam or would the two ingredients just cancel each other out?

I have a question! When I look at the recipes of the embedded bomb, citric acid and baking soda go in a 1:1 ratio. But here it's a typical 1:2 ratio. Is there a difference in the reaction in water? And your videos always provide useful information. Thank you!😍
@CreativeBathLab2 жыл бұрын
Hey there Red Books. First, great question- I'm surprised more people don't ask it. I have tried ALL combinations of baking soda to citric acid, focusing on adding more & more citric acid & honestly, I don't see a big change, if ANY.
@SheasBathLab2 жыл бұрын
@@CreativeBathLab I totally agree, there is no real difference. Not enough to bother with changing from 2:1 to 1:1 (BS to CA). Just use the SLSA in the part of the batch you want to slow down and no SLSA in the part of the batch that you want a full citric acid baking soda reaction

My vote is the chunky or half and half. Nice video BTW. I noticed that you didn’t use any witch hazel or h2o for a binder. How do you get them to stick together?

Hey girlie, I have a question. I make homemade bath bombs, and I'm wondering what ingredient can I add to my recipe so that my bath bombs will give the water that soft, silky feel, even with the usage of poly 80? I just can't seem to figure it out.
@CreativeBathLab2 жыл бұрын
It depends on what you mean by soft & silky... Milk is great for that, but even corn starch adds a silky feel. Butters are also a great way to go
@Carla-bz5xb2 жыл бұрын
@@CreativeBathLab I have tried all of those ingredients, (even in combination) and I'm still not satisfied. I finally tried a lush bath bomb for the first time, and the bath bomb gave the water the exact feel that I've been trying to accomplish. The water felt so soft! I see that you use guar gum in your recipes. What does it do? Does it change the feel of the water?

Hello 😊 There is a small clump of incense on the surface of the bath bomb. In spring, it did not appear even if it was made under the same conditions. Only certain perfumes produce this phenomenon The dehumidifier is making it 40 percent What's wrong?😭

Sure do! But thanks for all the heads up
@heatherj3385 Жыл бұрын
I just heard about the patent and was curious if these recipes would violate it as well. But, anyone can make these recipes for themselves or as gifts, they just can't sell the bombs.
