I am delighted with this clay. Thank you so much for making this video. The clay is sturdy and really tough when totally dry. Only very thin things break but that is the same with any air hardening clay and this is so much cheaper to make. Blessings, Juliet. X

I have been watching your art pieces for a few years and love your caring and easy way of sharing your creations with us. I made this clay and really love how it feels but I do have a question about it. Yours seems to be 'firmer' than mine so I was wondering if I should add more chalk or will it ruin the outcome. I added extra to take away the stickiness but I can't use it in molds like you did or make it 'stand up. Do you have any suggestions that I can try? Can You add more chalk after it has set for a day a so to firm it up? Thanks so very much for sharing your talents with us. Your 'crafty' friend from Canada! ;) :)

Calcium Carbonate is cheap: Can be added to any acrylic paint and any coloured paint if you want to turn it into chalk-paint: and it's not expensive as store bought chalk-paint: The calcium C. thickens the acrylic paint: this thickening makes sure the area you want to paint is covered well: it hides all marks etc.. Once yr paint is dry, you are ready for eg... decoupaging and remodernizing anything you want, especially old or dirty wood, any old or outdated ceramics glass and furniture, that you want to make it look shabby Chic or french vintage antique: If you accidentally put too much c/c into yr paint and it's too thick just add more paint to thin it down: You can wash brushes or any items...etc in water.
