The guy with the HIGH tenor is Earl, who was with Voiceplay for years until leaving a couple of years ago. This video was done long after J. None replaced longtime baritone Tony Wakim, who is partners with Layne in Pattycake Productions. J. None left to join the Navy not long after Earl left. Cesar has since filled one slot, but they still have one open. That's why they've had so many guest artists during and since Covid.

I love this one too-and I don’t even like boy bands most of the time!! The heartbreaker: The guy who brings the sandwich when they’re all around the trash can-that’s Rek, the comrade they dedicated the Halo video to. He died of COVID last year (I think). Some of these “best ofs” and “in 5 minutes” videos are just priceless. Great reaction, Chris!! I won’t suggest any tunes this time.

I never heard a reason for his death but the timing kind of leans that way. But I'm making no assumptions. Could have easily been a heart attack, high blood pressure, or a car wreck.

Since you enjoyed this, I highly recommend checking out RoadTrip's (channel is called RoadTrip TV) Evolution of Boybands from 2018, it's also very good!! They were a British-Irish boyband who sadly split up in 2020 😭 But their covers are still very much worth a watch!
@hhcoolmv12 жыл бұрын
Not sure if you'll see this second comment, but here's some extra information I meant to add about RoadTrip! - There were 7 members of RoadTrip over the the time they were together (though only 5 at any one time)! Andrew "Andy" Fowler (28, from Manchester, England), Ryan "Rye" Beaumont (26, from Somerset, England), Brooklyn (or Brook) Wyatt (born Gibson Avraam, turning 24 this year, from Essex, England), Ryan "Sonny" Robertson (turning 26 this year, from Essex, England), Harper Dark (born Harper Hunt, turning 22 this year, has lived in few places but I believe the place he's lived longest was in Tenerife? Don't quote me on that lol), Michael "Mikey" Cobban (26, from Bristol, England), and Jack Duff (turning 23 this year, from I believe? County Meath, Ireland) - Though I did mention their covers and they were probably most known for those, they also had original music! (They' since admitted it wasn't really to their tastes, but some fans still enjoy it) They had 4 EPs + an acoustic version of one of them - Miss Taken (2017), Tokyo Hotel (2017), Dynamite (2019, this is the one there's an acoustic of!), and White Label (2020). Also had one stand-alone single, one of their most popular songs, 'Take This Home'. (If you check out their Evolution of Boybands, that's the song at the end!) - They split up May 12th, 2020 - Too much to fully go into here but unfortunately they had basically an evil manager, Blair, who bullied them and stole their money over the nearly 5 years they were a band, so they sadly suffered a lot :( (If you do want more information about that once you're more familiar with them, look up the videos The Truth About RoadTrip (that Rye and Sonny did), and The Real Reason RoadTrip Ended (that Rye, Sonny, Brook, & Mikey did). - They now have solo careers! Andy I believe is releasing his first solo single sometime this year, Rye & Sonny are now a duo called F.E.A.T.S (stands for Four Eyes And The Skyscraper, a ref. to Rye's glasses and Sonny's height), Brook has several singles and a small EP 'something out of nothing', Harper's working on stuff but nothing's out yet, Mikey's focusing more on his KZbin channel these days but he may still do some music?, and Jack has a few singles out with some more stuff coming soon.

i hope you give your students more feedback as a voice teacher than you do reacting to videos... why bother having "voice teacher" in your video title if you're just watching a video? think you're the only voice teacher/vocal coach i've seen so far that has maybe 1 or 2 minutes talking time compared to listening time. most of them have 3-4 times as much talking as listening to talk about their vocal performances/choices/techniques, the music etc.... i mean, it's nice watching you enjoy the music, don't get me wrong. but a little more feedback on the actual performance would be nice as well.

Lol I definitely teach way more to my students - then again, it is a private lesson. Is this opinion based off this one video, or have you even seen the others? Because I tend to go in great detail.
