Excellent work. Very well done. I’m binge watching your videos as this is a craft I really would like to do. Just watched your tools needed (or suggested) video, very informative and interesting. I love the way you describe items and let us know what they are and what they are for. Thank you for sharing your incredible talent with us mere mortals.

Very nice build. I think it would have been cool if you used liquid silocone mask for the witch eyes and then removed it at the end to uncover the resin to show the inner glow.
@creativecuts78032 ай бұрын
I had actually tried that same idea with the hands. You don't see it in the video but I lilwft the hands unpainted to try to get them to glow but the light wouldn't carry through the model to the hands so I abandoned the idea but maybe the light would ha e made it to the eyes as they are directly above the light source. Great idea!!

The depth of detail from building up all the various stages and layers really paid off. Just in time for Spooky Season too.👻 Don't take this as gospel, I haven't done any 3D prints myself, but I'm sure I've heard more than once that putting prints with delicate supports in warm water can help with breaking them off without damage to the print itself.
@creativecuts78032 ай бұрын
Yeah I know about the warm water trick but the figure were thinner than the supports in some places so didn't want to risk it. Cheers

When I 3D print small things I burn the strings and some of the smaller supports off. Love how this turned out!!!
@creativecuts78032 ай бұрын
That sounds like a cool trick. What do you use to burn them?
@bsimon94272 ай бұрын
always great stuff! what do you do with all these builds?
@creativecuts78032 ай бұрын
I mostly just up them on a shelf in my living room. Sometimes they are commissions for people. Some I sell. But it is a challenge as space is a premium haha
@bsimon94272 ай бұрын
@@creativecuts7803 space, the final frontier, i fight that issue as well with the things i make. i like watching channels like yours and some build a ton of stuff and i'm like i hope they are not just tossing that stuff out once they get their views
@creativecuts78032 ай бұрын
@bsimon9427 haha no way. Sure something break or I box up and put in my loft but my background is as an artist - a painter specifically, so I consider these build as a more sculptural expression of my practice. They are art pieces to me and will never be thrown away. Live long and prosper 🖖👍
@bsimon94272 ай бұрын
@@creativecuts7803 i get it. i sometimes have trouble selling a custom project if i really put some sole into. but if i was commissioned to do it, well money talks and while i put some sole into it the project wasnt for me so i can distance from it. but i have missed a few and made replica's for me lol

Hi CC! I'm so inspired by your builds and your approach to your diorama making. I'm currently building a 2 foot square jungle diorama for a predator scene of my own design. Would really like you to see it. Ill try an get a channel started asap.

Next time just get a bottle of clear resin and get a pack of alcohol ink droppers. You can mix your own transparent colors like that. I even throw some colored glow in the dark pigments in mine as well. Ive printed out some green transparent ghosts that glow blue in the dark. I would like to know where you got your files from though.
@creativecuts78032 ай бұрын
Sweet idea. I ha e lots of alcohol inks so I will defo give it a try. Files were from myminifactory I think. 👍
