I never heard of the freezer paper method, I have seen people use wax paper, so I suppose it would be similar. Do you allow the ink to dry, at all, on the transfer paper, like for a few seconds/minutes, or do you instantly put it on your project. I know you want the ink wet, but I was just wondering if you allowed it to get a little sticky? The possibilities, with this method, are endless.
@CreativeDIYPurpose2 жыл бұрын
They really are endless! The freezer paper is thicker than traditional wax paper which allows it to be reused countless times. I would say my printed images were used within 10-20 minutes of printing. I agree you want it wet and a touch tacky vs too dry.

Would parchment paper work
@CreativeDIYPurpose2 жыл бұрын
I haven't tried it yet, my parchment paper doesn't have a shiny wax side which is why I didn't try it. Let me know if you try it and how it comes out ❤

I don't believe so. When your image is on screen in a project do you have the FLIP option on top bar next to edit image & crop? If not maybe save the image and create a new project then add your image to that new project. Let me know if that doesn't work and I can research it further for you ❤

Where do you sell things

I sell a few vintage items on Etsy, my small online shop, & some locally. ❤
@KMF32 жыл бұрын
@@CreativeDIYPurpose where do you sell the most?
@CreativeDIYPurpose2 жыл бұрын
@@KMF3 my online store but that took a few months and alot of work to market it. But you don't lose as much with fees like on selling platforms. (Just a one month fee and a fee for them to process payments) Now on the downside of that is shipping rates are extremely high. I live in the northeast and because rates are so high I don't bother listing anything that weighs over 4 pounds or oversize. If you are looking to sell your items I do recommend listing them in a variety of platforms and locally. Also utilize pinterest and social media platforms Hope this helps ❤ -Kim

Have you tried putting the bottles in a Zip-Lock bag and getting paint on the bottle that way. Put lids on the bottle and put paint in bag. Put capped bottle in bag, and cover bottle with paint, and then, dump bottle and paint out as bottle stands upside down with lid on. OR Poke hole in lid, and put a Dow in lid, place lid/cap on bottle, and roll bottle in paint in Zip-Lock bag and pull out with dow in lid a place upside down in block of styrofoam. (Pre make an hole for Dow.) P.S. The instructions were broken down so I made sure I had them right. It is a nursing thing.

I love the colors and your upgrades. Great ideas. Thank you for inspiring me. My one concern is if the paint on the metal cans and glass bottles will stay. I have seen others bake glass lightly in the oven to make the paint durable. Here's one such video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aqKaiJ1nbNWleaM I don't know about the metal objects. Personally, I use metal primer, first. I also use varnish on top of the paint on my metal objects. Thank you.
@CreativeDIYPurpose2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I do a final spray using rustoleum sealer and have items that have held up for years. I think it also depends on what type of paint we use. Great idea with the varnish Thanks for sharing ❤️
