I’ve always loved color and happy to see it is trending again! I appreciate the Neutral monochromatic decor but to be honest I think decorating with color is much more challenging in the sense you’ve got to make sure there is harmony in the color scheme. Much more fun for sure!

This is exactly how I feel about many of the upcycling and decor projects. I enjoy projects with individuality and a home with PERSONALITY!!! I believe each home should be as individual and unique as the family living their. I don’t want a grey sterile environment. I want a comfy, embracing and cheerful environment. This is where I live my life, and I want my home to reflect who I am. I too enjoy rescue projects instead of throwing it away 😊 I enjoyed this so very much.

You are a breath of fresh air. Here in the UK there is a craze for grey, which isn’t bad in itself, but many people are decorating there entire homes and soft furnishings in grey and silver. It looks like a black and white picture. Also the ‘de-cluttering’ of living spaces. I hate the cold sterile look. I applaud you for showing us how we can recapture the lovely, interesting, comfortable nest!

...I have to say that the books are one of my favourites on this, Miss Sherry. Sooooo pretty. All in all, another lovely DIY, ..EVEN if one doesn't have power tools at thier disposal. What I like so much about you ,and your Channel/ Projects , is : If one doesn't have an expensive Cricut ( or other such thing) or even " more than basic ' tools( even basic power tools) ..your projects are attainable, they are " do- able ". I just can never pick a favorite from your videos because I love everything you make. The mirror was pure genius and now I want to try it. The bird lamp I didn’t think I’d like when you first started and now I just want to go to the thrift store to find a metal wall piece so I can make one myself. I went to Walmart Friday night, (03/18/2022); it was my birthday. Before then, I took my son and his fiancé out to eat at a Mexico Restaurant, that is where they wanted to go for my birthday supper. I had not had a birthday get together nor cake in four years since my husband and in-laws had passed away. I miss them so much. We ate and came back home. They left and went to her parents for the weekend. I got up and went to Walmart and bought me every small bottle of chalk paint and white wax and antique wax by Waverley. New brushes. And went DT and bought some beautiful stickers, raw wood pieces, Easter pieces and several baskets to hold my crafting supplies.

Wow! There were so many unique and creative projects that I fell in love with in this video! The table piece turned shelf/wall decor, the terracotta planter with the handle from the oil basket, and the chain made out of shower curtain rings were my favorites. However, I loved the idea of adding embellishments to simple lamps and what you did with the mirror are both ideas I have to store away for the future.
