Ok, Gordon! Taking control of Gotham. Making the hard choices for the better of the city. What's harder to live with, revenge or resentment? Love the black & white, sets the tone perfectly and give this it's own character. Favorite moment is when the tide changes and Joker senses he's not the craziest one in the wagon. Great job, all the details and hard work can be seen on screen!

Thank you, infectious Designer, we're honored by your comment!! That moment is one of our favorites as well. Mark and Johnathan nailed the characters. Being on set was like walking into a comic book. We continue to be awestruck by the talents of our cast and crew. They are genuinely a Creative Force.

@@CreativeForceFilms BATMAN/CATWOMAN At last, Tom King returns to the rocky, romantic saga of Batman and Catwoman with his Heroes in Crisis collaborator, superstar artist Clay Mann! Echoing plot points from King’s epic Batman run, this sweeping tale is told across three timelines: the past, when the Bat and the Cat first fell in love; the present, where their union is threatened by one of Batman’s lost loves; and the future, where the couple have a happy life and legacy-including their daughter Helena, the Batwoman.

@@CreativeForceFilms BATMAN/CATWOMAN: FOLLOW THE MONEY The Cavalier - that's the Z-lister with the swords, right? So how'd he manage to frame Catwoman for a run of burglaries? And how on Earth did he manage the more spectacular crime of cleaning out the Wayne Enterprises pension fund and framing Bruce Wayne for the deed? However impressive he may appear to be, The Cavalier will quickly learn that frame-ups like that cut both ways, as both Batman and Catwoman begin tracking the Gotham City villain in this stand-alone one-shot from comics legend Howard Chaykin!

I've never managed to see a batman film that pulls the whole "No killing" thing into an actual perspective without ruining Bruce's characterization. Having Jim play executioner is honestly amazing because it strikes to the core of what makes batman so intresting. Jim isn't a nihilist, he doesn't have the meditations to do it again as far as I see it, and yet he's not absolved. He's committed a nessecary evil, and Bruce will never look at him the same because the "by the book" repor the two have is shattered.

My God this was AWESOME! 7:08 this whole part was so heavy. The _whole van talk_ was heavy. I feel like a lot of people can relate to this at some point. It''s sense of dread, the *MUSIC,* the echoing laughter, and the anticlimactic _taking out the trash._ Was all just *chef's kiss* Reminds me of the best DS9 episode _In the Pale Moonligh._ "I CAN live with it."

Although I can see most members of the Bat-Family being deep down glad that the Joker has died, but Bruce’s dynamic with Jim will never be the same. Someone Bruce respected enough to do the right thing technically did do the right thing for the betterment of everyone in Gotham… But not through the name of the law that the two mutually agreed on when they started working together… Now, Bruce can no longer look at Gordon the same way because that mutual agreement is no longer valid because of the “necessary evil” that Jim committed.
@JohnDanielRay1
@JohnDanielRay1 5 ай бұрын
I disagree. Batman doesn’t care about laws, I think that’s pretty obvious considering he’s a vigilante, it’s more about the morality of killing itself. While it’s understandable why Gordon did it, it wasn’t right because killing him in cold blood makes him just as bad as him. To further explain the logic is that if he kills Joker he saves tons of lives right? But what happens when that can be a solution to everything? You go from murderers to thieves to simple litterers, once you use it as a solution to prevent crime you essentially cross the line. I don’t think Batman should hold it against Gordon because of who Joker was, but he has a point.

This is the ultimate ‘Joker wins’ scenario which I'm not sure many commenters realize. Having Batman killed, that's been done before. Having him _kill_ is rarer but there have been stories where J succeded at that. Having Gordon go so against his by-the-book methods? The seminal Joker story's _point_ is that this simply cannot be done.

Everytime it focused on Joker it's pretty unsettling because of those creepy eyes. And as if Joker and Gordon's performances weren't good enough for me to hold this together the black and white really added something. I was genuinely shocked by the ending though after what he did to Gordon and disabling Barbara I totally get why he would kill him. By the way I liked that final line "you know it's funny... I don't wanna die." This was honestly very great.

Oh. My. God. That was…better than anything I anticipated. I appreciate the bold choices, as well as the exposition, through the dialogue from the Joker in the truck, and Batman nonchalantly removing his mask in front of Gordon. I appreciate the combination of black and white with the mixed designs, where you made the Joker’s look a good mix (his long straight hair and straight jacket reminded me of Jared Leto at the end of the Snyder Cut) not to mention his eyes. I also liked how you gave Batman the smoky eye make-up, presumably inspired by “The Batman”. I can’t do enough justice to what you did, but this…this is the kind of bold and well-done fan work I appreciate.

This was brilliant. Maybe not the direction I expected it to go in, but the details here are great. Using monochrome to help with the noir atmosphere, the old-style cop cars and boxy SWAT truck with the old PASGT gear, you got the atmosphere down pat. Joker's actor was pretty solid too, maybe a little corny but he's good enough and it's well-shot enough that it didn't matter. Using the SWAT truck pulling up as a way to establish it showing up, introduce the location of the rest of the film, AND make Batman disappear all in one move was a brilliant, efficient play in writing and camerawork. I have a hard time believing Gordon would ever do in Joker unjustifably but you set up a plausible scenario where he would and frankly even managed to make him a little scary; if anyone knew how to get away with murder it'd be the head of the police, after all. Even Batman hasn't found that body. 10/10.
