Thank you! I have been doing Scrapbooking with CM for 27 years. Many things have changed over the years with CM and life. A year ago I became an advisor (wish I'd done it sooner) and watching the 101 series has brought me up to date with the current techniques and product lines. I'm old school and would spend hours cropping and working on a page. If I go back and look at my old scrapbooks and compare new albums they are on a whole new improved level. I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks!

Great reminder of the basics. I have been scrapbooking since the 90s. Started with CM, when it was just triangles and no CCS and everything was circles and ovals traced, detoured owning a scrapbook shop but that good CM grounding kept us in mind of safe products and back to CM briefly before they closed and rediscovered they were back about 18 months ago just before my second husband passed away in July. CM, zoom and virtual crops have been my therapy and as I have just hit 70 my pages have gotten simpler as I try to complete albums. I had a big sort out and put pages completed in albums etc last year and I had a 100 part done albums. Last year I completed 30 albums and some like my Tribute and Heritage albums were from scratch. I love your reminder there is no right or wrong way to scrap. We all scrapbook for many reasons. Also sometimes we have many photos and other times only one special photo. My scrapbooking has gotten more basic on most pages but every now and again I do a fancier page. I am much more focused on telling the story. I felt it was important to tell my parents stories in their Tribute albums and completed my Mother's last year and my Father's album this year. I am an only child and my Father passed away while I was at school in 1970 so there aren't a lot of photos of him but their stories die out with me so it was important to stop my current work and tell these stories. I also think it will be good to refer customers and people starting out to these on You Tube as they start rather than them get overwhelmed with too much information or how many tools they need etc.

Love you reminding all that there is no right way to scrapbook AND that the most important is the 5 Ws! Thanks much.

Thanks for the demo of the Creative Memories albums! I'm still fairly new to Creative Memories and I think this is the first time I've seen an example of how the pages are loaded and protected within a CM album. It's a little different from other company's scrapbook albums that I own. Thanks for going back to basics for us!

Hi Noreen, watching from Australia on replay. Thank you for this series, looking forward to watching the next video. Been scrapping for a while, going back to basics is a good refresher. I don't like to "over embellish" my pages, am looking for simple, basic ideas.

If you already have a CM advisor, she can get you one. If you don't have one, find one! We are a great resource for you - I know I have been scrapbooking for almost 30 years now and still learn new things from my fellow advisors.
