This was great! Don’t have beads…but I am embarrassed by my ribbon stash in 3 large bins. 😂 I just purchased a circuit joy… I’m a beginner so I thought I would start there. Loved your video…thanks!

I love your beginning of the year tool recommendations and what you use. The awl, I use mine "awl" the time, for punching holes in paper and starting a hole for a screw, to using it to take paint from in-between the crates and shiplap woods. It's a pretty awlsome tool I use.👍😘

This video is AWESOME!! I emailed it to myself for the list of all the tools you recommended! And the blade changing video will be so helpful. Good on you, girlfriend! Can’t wait for this year’s craft room organizing video! Last year’s was fantastic!! Keep on keepin’ on, Courtney! LOVE your videos!! And, so happy the newest member of your Pinners team, “ Little Pumpkin” Henry has arrived and that Whit is on the road to recovery!!! The TEAM is on the road to recovery!!! I ordered a package of the cardboard sheets while you were online! Thank you, Courtney❣️❣️❣️ Blessings ❤

I knew your awl would be there!! The one tool I don't have in my craft room!! Lol! I absolutely love the idea of the nail polish holders for the bottles of paint or glue that we could put in there to keep it flowing. I do not have them, but will get those as well. The tube holders that you were showing like to use for toothpaste I do not have, but will probably get them as well because that will help me in pushing up the glue from the tubes. In all, I have (or my hubby has) most of everything that you have mentioned. I think this video was very informative and very helpful for all of us crafters. Thank you so much for putting this together Courtney! You rock!❤

I don't have an awl, but I do have an ice pick which basically is the same and have used it many times. Love the silicone mats. Have almost all of these tools except a miter saw and brad nail. Maybe this year. Thanks for sharing. Have an awesome evening.

If you need a new drill I highly recommend the Athena drill by Aleah. Beautiful and powerful. Really classes up a workbench.

She definitely has it and she sent her the new safety glasses (that are adorable) in the last mystery box challenge. The lady's channel that makes the drill is design to the nines, I think. 💫🤍💫🤍

I have a miter saw, and I absolutely love it! But sometimes I just need a small cut, and I really love my miter box. There is a bit of a learning curve mostly how to keep it stable but once you figure that out add some elbow grease and I can cut in seconds without having to drag out my miter saw 😊

Thank you Courtney, great vid as usual. Not a criticism (who am I to criticize the Crafting Goddess!?), but around the 9:14 mark there's a typo on the "Helpful Crafting 'Tiems' lead-in sign - should be Items. Former executive assistant here, so I notice these things - except for when I do something similar 😅.

Love the idea of the polish holder for glue & paint. My favorite weeding tool is from the dollar tree I’m not sure what it’s actually used for, but they are pink and come 2 in a pack. They have a pointed end and the other end is like a bone folder (slanted & flat) I reuse transfer tape over and over (I place it on it’s backing) until it’s not sticky anymore.

I really enjoyed this video, Courtney. Thank you for sharing what works best for you. Choosing supplies can be overwhelming when there are so many options. It's really hard for people who don't have anyone close to them that they can ask what they prefer. I just wonder if some newer viewers or crafters know what can be done with some of the supplies or tools you mentioned? The paper holder and cutter for the Cricut only works for the Maker 3, right?
@marthadueck64615 сағат бұрын
Thank you for putting out this video. Most of the Items I have. I sold my Cricut maker and looking forward to getting the new Cricut Joy. I never thought of using those knife pens to weed with. I don't know what a awl is but will look into it.

Hi Courtney! These are all fantastic ideas! My question for you is about the Cricut. I’ve been a crafter for years but never owned a Cricut but now I’m considering getting one. I want super simple, easy to use and understand. I am not a techie person and I’m pretty intimidated by all this. I really only want to use it for sign making- small signs and projects. What do you think? Thank you so much for your help! ❤
@jodeez4 сағат бұрын
Courtney, I always love your craft tools video. Seems like many KZbinrs are putting aside the miter sheers in favor of using the tin snips. My husband just does not appreciate the cost/usefulness of the miter sheers and has really discouraged me from getting one. I think that I will just go for the tin snips since they are cheaper. I really want to find a love for glue guns, but the high humidity where we live can really turn a craft project with glue gun glue into a pile of junk. Any suggestions on when it might be appropriate to use that type of glue. Totally love having a heat gun available for crafting, etc. Also, would love to find a good quality silicone mat that is larger (than the set from Walmart) for my craft table. Can you recommend one? I totally agree with you about the heat press mini. Happy New Year!
