I think now creativerse is going to be the 2nd minecraft, it is just waiting to blow up and go viral, then minecraft will be DEAD

Honestly, the machines in CV generally need to be optimized to impact systems less. There have been some great things built already, but there are some awesome ideas that are getting left on the table because of lag.

Yeah some optimisation is definitely needed :) I assume that's on the roadmap though.

I watched the whole video, and one big mistake which you guys made in the comparison is that you guys are arguing about what to compare. Whoever said "you can't even compare the games" is an idiot because they are obviously games in the same "Minecraft" genre. I agree with a lot of your arguments, but I disagree with some, I have written this comment a few times because I don't know how to formulate it and it turns out way too long so this time I'll try to keep it short by comparing and giving my opinion in bullet points. - Minecraft worlds are endless (?) which gives it way more playability and a feeling or "you are never really done with the game" -> Creativerse has a way better way to navigate the world (I wish Minecraft took that from Creativerse instead of that useless compas and map solution they implemented). - Minecraft has an endgame -> Creativerse just can't compare with that, the crabkong or whatever the name was, and "The Thing" is not an endgame, it's a mob like any other - Creativerse looks way way WAY better than minecraft -> Minecraft can be modded to look better (I personally think creativerse has the advantage here, even though you can make minecraft look different, it is still a painful process and not everyone likes it, but Creativerse definitely needs to implement character customisation, like Minecraft has skins for the player character). - Minecraft has WAY WAY WAY more content, and you can't count just the number of blocks, if it was all about the blocks then minecraft would win straight up as the creative mode in minecraft would be the perfect tool for that... why would I spend hours upon hours collecting blocks to craft something if the exploring part itself is boring... which brings me to the next point... - Minecraft has villages, monuments, temples, the nether, the end world, mobs you can interact with (villagers), and so many things which you can only get from a specific mob which you can only find/summon/kill if you do a specific thing which forces you to go and explore more etc... -> Creativerse doesn't have 1/10 the content that Minecraft has to keep the game interesting, pretty much on my 5th day of playing the game I reached all 4 borders of the world, put up teleporters there to be able to get back, dug down to the corruption layer and set up a base there to be able to return and gather more resources whenever I need, built a corruption layer farm to farm chests and kill monsters in the farm, and then I got bored... the only thing left to do is to walk around, collect material and build things... awesome... I can use creative mode in Minecraft to do that part too way easier... Yes, rotating blocks adds some charm, and is definitely a good thing, but it doesn't make the game groundbreaking, if you know what I mean... - Creativerse is hiding content behind a paywall... NOT COOL... I played the game for free for the first 3 days, decided to buy it because hey it looks fun, got a bunch of stuff with the payment (including flying... that is really a mechanic they should not hide behind a paywall, it will discourage so many people from playing the game), and even then, after I bought the game, there are still things I need to buy to have the whole "set" which is available currently, which really makes me want to quit the game and request a refund of my money -> Minecraft, you pay for the base game, and you get EVERYTHING, all of the game mechanics... imagine if redstone or flying was behind a paywall in Minecraft... wouldn't you be mad to have to pay for a game, and then pay some more to be able to play the game "properly"? The discussion of realms and servers in Minecraft being a paid thing is a different discussion, but that is my next point... - Creativerse is way easier to get into for playing with other people than Minecraft, that is a good and a bad thing. Sure Minecraft requires a bit of fiddling around (there are thousands of step by step tutorials on how to set up your own server if you want to host a server) or you can go the paid route and pay for a realm and it becomes as easy as it is in Creativerse. The bad side of it is that you are forced to play on the latest version of Creativerse, all the time... what if they release something that is absolutely game breaking for you, and you don't want to have that "feature" on your multiplayer server? Well tough luck.... In Minecraft, if you are hosting the server, you can simply not update and the release and play on the old release, or you can mod out the thing that you don't like... There are MANY more points that I could write down, but again the comment is becoming way too long that I think you won't even read it as is, but definitely make another video, but if you do, please argue about the games the right way... a direct comparison, because if you do, you will probably reach the same conclusion as me... currently Minecraft is WAY better of a game, BUT Creativerse has the potential to become much better, not just because it looks much better but also because it has some features which change the way you would play it. If Creativerse would absorb literally every single good thing that minecraft has (content, mechanics, world size, etc...) and keep the things that are awesome about it atm (navigation, looks/style, easy access for multiplayer), in my opinion, it would become so much more popular that they would have so much money that they would be able to drop the stupid paywall for content. This is already way too long, enough, I think I made some of my many points about it xD

Well it seems like your final stance is quite similar to ours - that Minecraft does more currently, but Creativerse could potentially do more than that in the future. :) It does get more complicated in that you can never rely on a game to fulfill it's potential, which is why I debated over how much we can include potential in the comparison, and we formulate these videos as an open discussions, so disagreements and some derails happen. :) I also should apologise for my own part in the discussion, because I felt like I wasn't very coherent, largely because I hadn't slept in 24 hours at that point. :P But yeah, it's a big complicated discussion, thanks for the feedback! :)

I honestly wasn't expecting you to read/reply to my comment at all, but I am glad you did. Please make another video with more discussions, I'd love to listen to it while playing both of the games. You can totally pick up some of my points I brought up in the first comment and totally trash it if you have a better counter argument, or agree with it if you do agree with it. I wouldn't want to be in the video itself, but if you want to have a more in depth discussion about the differences, we could chat on discord or something (if you need more content to create another video of the same format)... P.S. I love your build style, the white and blue wall blocks look amazing when combined the way you combined them. Let me know if you need a hand sometime, would love to help out.

Desktop Creativerse main game is free , but pay for DLC, and more DLC ... Over a $100's in DLC you could end up buying, because they keep adding new paid DLC ...Desktop Minecraft the game cost $26 and has 1,000's and 1,000's of FREE add-on, mods , spawn eggs, a commands for command blocks.
