Can you imagine the learning that he got in that place? He had a gift. the personality to take it a step further. Good for him. and what a guitarist.

I remember seeing Glen and Jerry Reed at the Arkansas State Fair back in the 70's Seeing that artistry from two guitar legends was amazing and sadly both are gone. RIP

Love it. I've been on a Phil Spector and Ronnie Spector kick lately and the more I learn, the more I want. The Wrecking crew was an awesome group of musicians that never was fully appreciated. I wish I could have been a fly on the wall during some of those sessions.

Glen is clearing suffering from the early stages of dementia here, and in a way, this video works against its own purpose. Campbell is a legend, and I think we should celebrate him in a way that presents him in his best light. It's analogous to Ronald Reagan, in that Nancy protected him from the spotlight toward the end so that we could go forward with what Reagan symbolized- no matter what we thought of him. I loved Glen Campbell, and always will. I think his memory deserves the most delicate, and tasteful, treatment.

I'm seeing some subtle signs of Alzheimer's here, just by what I saw my mom go through. He gave it one hell of a fight. RIP Glen.

An incredible legendary one of a kind musician and entertainer, never to be equaled in the age of 4/4 computer loops and rapcrap.

I guess it was a great thing that Glen was self taught,rather than the need to read music. Possibly allowed him to still be a performer,even though he had the signs of not being able to recall some of the past. But Hey,glen was the greatest,& we all have to pass on with some affliction. He loved his life of music

I had difficulty putting Glen into a category, was he an TV star, a singer, a musician, an actor? He was all of those and it came naturally to him.

Isn't it amazing how the negativity of one's issues becomes so prevalent after the info is announced. You watch and listen more intently, then comment with pity or disgrace. Funny how we can critique others, but never ourselves.

Call this an "interview in the raw" if you want. I call it an interview involving an interviewer asking a lot of questions while very badly mic-ed. Still i enjoyed it.

Bart Ramsey Come on we don't know what they had to work with. Glen Campbell is suffering from Alzheimer's disease. He's not well and isn't going home so who knows what problems they were dealing with even back then.
@Creativeworxmotionmedia9 жыл бұрын
Bart Ramsey Thanks Bart!! I didn't mic the interviewer because what this was originally used and intended for was inclusion in an on going documentary storyline cutting into Glens responses... (never hearing an interviewer...... ) most of these interviews I have loaded up are raw footage shot for a specific purpose and instead of just letting them sit in my vaults i decided to release the raw interviews on youtube for fans and interested parties such as myself who enjoy seeing raw uncut stuff... enjoy and thanks for watching..
