Is it possible to have 2 or more points of origin?

yeah good question. you’ll just need to do some masking. inside the Map precomp, duplicate the layer. Solo the top duplicate, move the center point in the effect, then mask around that new origin -following the edges of the cracks. Then do that again and you’ll have 3 layers, with the top 2 having masks around the origins that are in different positions. i didn’t check, but i believe the effects used will support masks. but if they don’t, it’s that same process, but you’ll just have to mask on alpha mattes.

when I set my displacment map to the crack that i made but it didnt do anything

make sure the vertical and horizontal displacement is taken from the Lumanence of the displacement layer. that's what I'm guess went wrong.
