how you made that looping background animation in the example video ?

hi. used one of the grunge style brushed with the brush tool then just turned up the size of it. then i just clicked it around the canvas pretty randomly for each frame.

Is there any way to include looped texture background instead of painting all frames?
@BWayMotion
@BWayMotion Ай бұрын
@@sagaraleasorg Yes, by offsetting a bunch of duplicates of the animated background. Make sure you animate the background on a separate video layer under the foreground animation layer. Select the BG layer and "Command + J" to duplicate it. Then offset on the timeline it to start when the other one ends. Keep doing that until you hav enough loops. **For some reason when I duplicate the video layer, the new layer is untrimmed and I have to re-trim it to the correct length. You might have that same issue. Let me know if this solves your issue or if I need to clarify anything.

@@BWayMotion If your background animation is 2 seconds long and you need to extend it to match a 10-second animation, you would indeed need to duplicate the 2-second animation multiple times. You need to duplicate the 2-second animation 5 times to achieve a continuous 10-second background animation. Am I correct?

Is it possible to have 2 or more points of origin?
@BWayMotion
@BWayMotion 10 ай бұрын
yeah good question. you’ll just need to do some masking. inside the Map precomp, duplicate the layer. Solo the top duplicate, move the center point in the effect, then mask around that new origin -following the edges of the cracks. Then do that again and you’ll have 3 layers, with the top 2 having masks around the origins that are in different positions. i didn’t check, but i believe the effects used will support masks. but if they don’t, it’s that same process, but you’ll just have to mask on alpha mattes.

I never responded, sorry. -Make a Birthrate keyframe on the first frame set to 15. I found that 15 is a good number to start from. -set a keyframe on the second frame as 0. This means all the particles are produced on the first frame, and then none are produced for all frames after.

As which file do you save it in the end? I mean to save it like an animation video
@BWayMotion
@BWayMotion Жыл бұрын
File > Export > Render Video Under "format," you can save as "H264" for MP4 files or "Quicktime" for less compressed (higher quality) MOV files. Either one will be able to be imported into a video editing software so you can add sound/music and edits.

starting 4:09 u just did it so fast, no clue what u re doing there :) I am stuck thee, I literally do not know what to do there on my video. Impossible to figure out. After tracking it shows a multitude of points, why did u fast forward the most important part?
@BWayMotion
@BWayMotion Жыл бұрын
I’m surprised I haven’t gotten more comments calling that out. I agree, this video was confusing. I’ll do my best to explain more in writing: Each puppet pin should be pick-whipped to their corresponding tracked point. What I did was select a pin, see which pin gets highlighted on the fake face “mask” in the viewport, then pick-whip that pin position to the position of the face tracker. In the tutorial, I say to create the pins in the same order as I do, so that linking the pins to the tracking points can be done in the order after effects lists the tracking points. But it is not unlikely that many people add the puppet pins to the fake face “mask” layer in a different order than what they see in the video. And that’s fine, it’s just important to double check which pins are which. The face tracker labels each of its trackers, so compare the pins you’ve made to those and link. There are so many, but that is what I did. Again, not the best tutorial. I made a follow-up tutorial for this that may explain the process better(?).
