I'm a retired hospice nurse, and I had a patient whose habit was woodworking. He was in the last days of his life. He had had a tiny family. My partner and I alternated shifts and stayed with him as long as he lived. I spent several days in his shop. He had to rest or he happiest doing just what this man is doing

It is a one of a kind hand made piece. I appreciate the creativity and it would be perfect in boho decor. Quirky adds interest to any space. If you don’t like it shut up, aka “if you can’t say something nice - don’t say anything at all” I don’t know what makes some people unpleasant.

I always ask the same question, finally an older woman I did not know overheard me, she turned to me & said “growing up I never understand that either and over my many years I came to believe that most of them were never shown or taught Nice Loving Care, in that case they do not know how to show that, she added, a simple name for them is “BORN COMPLAINERS” they only fell happy if they can complain hoping to make others or at least one person as miserable & empty hearted as they are themselves.

@@myturn9431 I am going through that right now. I have been in the hospital for three months, the result of a bad fall. I lived about an hour away from my daughter and she wanted me to live close. While I was in the hospital she found a very nice mobile home park for over 55. She found one that was the ugly duckling in the park and totally renovated it. We sent pictures back and forth so I could pick all of the finishes. Everyone loves it and it is no longer an eyesore but there is one man on the homeowners board that lives right behind me and he has a complaint about the front porch. All plans were approved ahead of construction but he is suing us to remove the porch. I am limping around on a walker he is digging his heels in. His mother had the same home health care and my therapist said he was awful to her when she came to do physical. Therapy. There are people who are not happy unless they are stirring something up. I’m not saying anything to him and my family handles it but it must be awful to always have something to be mad about. Everyone else comes by to tell us how beautiful it is and such an improvement over how ratty it was before.

Just because I may not like something it doesn't make me a bad person. PEOPLE ARE ALLOWED TO HAVE DIFFERENT OPPINIONS BOUT ART. this isn't something I would buy but I think it's amazing and well crafted.

If someone says anything negative about what any artist does it's because they are a hater or just plain jealous that they don't have the skill or talent to do such things. Liked the end product but thought it looked lovely when you could see the deep clear sides with the pencils showing, before it was ground down. A pity for me they couldn't save the deep sides with a space in the middle.

Pode até ter ficado lindo, porém, é um grande desperdício de coisas úteis, dezenas de caixas de lápis perfeitos para destruir e transformar em uma simples fruteira, que já existem de vários materiais, prontos para uso. Eu que quando criança, só tinha pq ganhava do governo uma pequenina caixinha com apenas (06) lápis pequeno, que era uma presente ( ajuda) que valorizo até hoje 😢
