Yes, hello, I get perhaps too invested in fictional ecosystems and have a few questions if you’d be willing to discuss. Taking into consideration real life predators who dig for food and or camouflage/housing, would its hunting habits be more akin to ambush or scavenging? A mix of both? Something else? Because thermal/volcanic vents are frequently found in both, would this creature be more likely to be found in the twilight zone or the midnight zone? Does it possess any bioluminescence, and would said bioluminescence be effected by its diet? What are its breading and social habits? Does it face any predators of its own or any ecological rivals? (Either other creatures or existing animals, examples not needed) Feel free to forgo answering if you’d prefer, and simply know my brain has decided to latch onto your beautiful abomination~
