We met one of the coolest people on planet earth, folklorist and author Piper CJ. Piper delivers all the charm and chaos of world of folklore through both an academic lens and creative mind, because not only does she have a degree in folklore, but she’s a published author as well! We came for the mystical tales of selke’s and succubi, and stayed for her high fantasy books and novellas!

Corrine! You look so beautiful! Baby bellies are such a wonderful amazing thing! I know you don’t feel well being at the end of your pregnancy- I fully relate. I think when a woman is pregnant it is the most empowering and beautiful a woman can look! You are absolutely glowing from within. Creating life is exhausting and draining but truly one of the most powerful and primal things a woman can do. You rock Corrine!!! I can’t even tell you how excited I was when I saw that you were all getting together for this podcast. I sent it to my 3 daughters and one of them had already listened to it. Sometimes that just happens when someone goes too close to a crows nesting area when there are newly hatched chick's. In Vancouver we have reminders on the news when it's crow swooping season because we have such a large population and so many swoops 😅

More like this and like the one with Fio, please! There is so much more to what you guys touch on than the scary, dramatic stuff that makes a narrative story. I can tell you're going that direction too, maybe coinciding with your witch journeys? I think there's a lot of profound interdimensional experience that our human brains are interpreting (or causing?) to be more threatening than they are, because of that lack of ability to comprehend. The discussion of aliens and fae towards the end is very compelling. I would love if you guys did a deep dive into Jacques Vallee's interdimensional theory and others like it. It's worth wrapping our heads around the fact that a paranormal experience can be extremely real, yet we perceive and remember it according to our own limitations and cultural bias.
