A MUST SEE!!! Pamelyn Ferdin has that face you remember being in everything you ever watched growing up! Also she worked with or met every big name in the golden age of Hollywood such as Cary Grant, Clint Eastwood, Vincent Price, Dean Martin and WILLIAM SHATNER!!!! On top of that she was the voice of Lucy in Charlie Brown and still sounds the same! In Daughter Of The Mind' Pemelyn worked with the great Ray Milland and Ed Asner! With this movie, channel your inner Scooby Doo and try to answer whether the spirits are real or is there something more sinister going on. See you Saturday night!!!!

Robert Drasnin's spooky score is themed on Pamelyn Ferdin's "Daaaady" cry. Lionel Newman served as "music supervisor" and always mentored terrific film scorers - including a young John Williams. I love the fact that Pamelyn Ferdin's screen parents, Ray Milland and Gene Tierney portrayed a married couple adopting an extraordinary child (with a murderer father) in the 1951 classic: "Close to the Heart."

I've been a fan of Pamelyn Ferdin ever since I was a kid in the 1960s when she was the actress/voice of Lucy on Peanuts. It blew me away to begin noticing her on so many other TV shows & movies including this one which I watched on TV when it first appeared. Pamelyn was fantastic in the film The Beguiled just deserving of a best supporting actress Oscar nomination. Everybody loved her on Star Trek, The Brady Bunch, Family Affair, plus her neat role on The Curiosity Shoppe on PBS...that's when I really crushed on her, though I was destined to be gay. Her ton of roles into the future were always enjoyable. It was wonderful to discover her later & present life was humbly focused on humanity toward animals as well as people. She made such kind friendly comments to my close friends in Los Angeles when they were vacationing there several years ago & attending a marriage equality ralley. It's also a kicker to know she's vegan. I've been a vegetarian since Springtime 1981...I'm also kosher being a Messianic Jewish fellow. ...This interview with Pamelyn Ferdin has been a favorite. Thank you for bringing us this enjoyable conversation & intriguing film. Please try to have Pamelyn Ferdin return someday!

I think Eastwood kissed her on the mouth. In the movie, he's a wounded Union soldier hiding from Confederate troops. She plays a little girl, who comes across him. In the script, he's supposed to put his hand across her mouth to keep her from calling to them or yelling. Instead, he kissed her on the mouth. The look of shock on her face is genuine.

I'm looking forward to seeing Ray Milland. He exemplified the mid-century American Family Man Archetype, giving the audience a hero protagonist they could readily identify with. This was especially seen in PANIC IN YEAR ZERO when his character is shepherding his family through the chaos of post-nuclear America. A consistently under-rated actor, IMHO.
