This is a scifi horror from the 70's about a deadly alien virus, so I'm guessing it makes the victim want to grow sideburns, wear tight flared jeans and dance disco. A better known film on the same subject was 'Saturday Night Fever'. See you on Saturday night, and if you meet any aliens say hello for me!

Yep. Cheap special effect budget. Notice they're wearing masks like the ones we were forced to don as symbols of "solidarity" that can't possibly stop a virus or even chemical fumes. They might stop dirt and debris.

Just started watching this film, love the cinematography! Love this show! Curious how many viewers are under the age of 30. Nevertheless, I believe a proper home for our beloved Creature Features should be on Adult Swim. Quirky, dry, odd show that deserves a larger audience! Please invite Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim, I am sure they would pay a visit to the mansion! (I think they are both of German descent, would love to see their conversations with Livingston!) It's Karl Heinz Stockhausen (with an umlaut) and my best advice is don't. Unless you're a fanatic fan of Germanic nouveau "classical" music whose pace makes most French films look like 90's action thrillers.

I would call this one of the better, maybe best, of the post 'Good old days' of cheesy sci fi in mostly in the 50's early / 60's. Though there is a sub culture of late 60's 70's cheesy sci fi that is just as good, I call it Psychedelic Sci Fi - think Barbarella

Vinny VD, I have been watching the television show "I Dream of Jeannie" for many years now. I started watching it when I was about 10 and I still watch reruns all the time. I do not ever once remember hearing that song attached to that show. So I'm afraid in this case I have to agree with Mr Livingston when he implied that that is not a show tune.
