For most, making a statement isn’t an easy task. But then again Usha Uthup isn't ‘most people’.
For one, she prefers to drape her statement.
An obsession 50 years in the making, these saris are now an integral part of her identity. If you notice the letter K(in Bengali)in her Bindi it stands for Kolkata.. That's her love for the city where she lives mostly even though her roots lie in Mumbai and ethnically she is Tamil.
