I have greatest respect for her. I have seen her since my middle school days some four decades ago on DD. She has never lost her balance of thinking despite her extraordinary challenges. She never made it big in her singing world yet she was adored by many. Her talent is rated from moderate to reasonably good but never reached the zenith. This has never frustrated her nor she gave up on her life. Her lifestyle should be inspiration especially for those who whine and complain. May God bless Ushaji with health, happiness and prosperity. Wow!!!! In 2019, I had the opportunity to run into her at the airport in Kolkata. I walked up to her and greeted her, and then asked to take a picture with her, and to which, she obliged despite her security guard being around. Her guard snapped a picture of me and Ushaji.
