not exactly true. They just claim the video and make ad revenue off the editors work. My AMVs are usually autoclaimed within 30 seconds of being posted. They leave it up as long as the editor doesnt claim the song as their own. You see at the bottom of the description the fancy song labeling, thats copywrite claim at work.

to think, soul eater is from 2008 and still got such an animation ahead of its time, truly amazing.. and this AMV showcases this perfectly! love it

When you think about it, you can actually thank it's art style. Soul Eater's animation wasn't actually ahead of it's time. At the time, the "Weird Gothic, but 80s" style wasn't in anime, so it stands out. Then, combine it with Soul Eater's simplistic, but stylish, art and you have a good recipe for easy, but impressive, animation.

So glad you have the name of artist and Song in the video. I was worried at first when I didn't notice it in the description.
