If you borrow 10k and pay off 5k only the Bank will still charge you interest for entire 10k. even if you pay 9999 they will still charge interest for entire 10k.

For online purchasing When payment option open then there lot option shown like Debit , credit,UPI,wallet,netbanking First choose you're payment method as credit card then there is two options one is full payment another one is EMI here you choose EMI option then there is No cost EMI option if bank offers Mostly they offer upto 6 month for no cost EMI if amount exceeds 30k then they offer more than 6 month For offline you should tell before payment to the merchant

Interests will be charged for full bill amount even if you pay say 25k for 30k bill amount they will charge full interest for 30k bill amount. This is basic thing. If he gives wrong information people will lose money

Most of the bank now charging per day interest, how many days you took money from credit card they will put charges even though you pay total money before bill generated date. Annual interest is 35-45% which will be arround 3.5% per month including GST the total money will go up. So it's is better save 50000 as emergency fund instead of taking 50000 credit card. Credit card is a trap baits are offers on credit card. There was a time we had 30-45 days to pay our dues, if paid with in bill date we will not charged any interest now it's not like that. Card limit depends on your income. So it is better to save invest and spend wisely. If you want one go for life time free credit card and make sure the bank doesn't charge per day interest.

@@akilans7603Try for FD backed credit cards. There are many banks offering that. Just enquire with ur present bank. Put a fixed deposit and get a credit limit of 80-85% of that amount every month.
