Does it matter whether you identify the transaction as an "expense" or "CC expense"?

Hi Mark! I hv a doubt. Bank feed gives only two kinds of transactions, one expense and other deposits. How to get a inter- bank transfer transaction from Bank feed. Plz enlight me. Thanks

Thanks but transfer should be one of the choices in the bank feeds and if not then I can give you the bank fees video I'll send you the link if you can't find it on the channel page You don't have to use transfer you could use deposit if it's a plus to the account and payment or check if it's minus to the account

Why do we have to MESS with manual entries when 99% of us are getting register entries from our bank feeds? I dont get it? Are you saying our bank feeds are WRONG? or need modification? When i see an entry in my bank feed that matches a credit card side i just match it. What more is there too do?

Not every credit card company or Bank makes available downloads and Bank feeds so you will need this video to know how to record it manually. It is also very possible that you miss classify something when moving it from the downloaded Bank feed review list and recording it into your actual records so you will have to know how to delete and edit that manually from the register. And there are some transactions that requires several accounts and you might not be able to do that from the bank feeds review list so that's why you should learn the manual way first. Mark
