Credit One American Express Card. (is it really an American Express card?)

Im so lit!!! I've been "PRE-APPROVED" per Experian app for this for a few months.. decided to apply tonight and was approved for the $2000. Didn't know about the concert perks but that's great news!! Going to be calling though to discuss lowering my annual fee from $95 to $39 haha If you get in good w the underwriters you can really work that to your benefit

A very insightful video! I currently have a Credit One American Express credit card, and it is doing me a world of good! I was given a $3,000.00 credit limit! I do admit I do have a high balance on the card, but I am diligently working on knocking it down over time. I send more than the minimum payments each billing cycle to expedite that process. The key thing is to keep your spending under control. make your payments on time, and you can't go wrong with it!

I've had it for a while, and they waived and refunded the fee and dropped the apr to 12.9% for 6 months and then said to call back in 6 months, and they will do it again!!! American Express can't even beat that offer😂😂😂

Got approved for it on 12/11/2022 and they shipped out my card on 01/09/2023 It was supposed to get here on 01/19/2023 but I have not received this card does it really take long for them to ship it out or should I call and ask for them to re send it As of today 01/26/2023 I have yet to receive this card

I like this card, it’s decent, it was one of my first cards with a low limit when it was with visa now it changed to American Express and they waived my annual fee.

Credit One American Express Credit Card = "Lipstick on a pig" CC. Part of the "I want to look important and pretentious, but I have a 500 FICO Score" trifecta: along with the Ripoff Black Card and that one really shiny First Premier Bank Card...

Credit One Bank 🏦 is a good card for people who are trying to build thier credit or bad credit 🤔 This the 1st credit 👏 I got threw credit karma. Couldn't get one threw my financial institution (bank). The initial credit line is $300 but get an increase in 60 days.

Just got approved for a $2000 credit limit. I’m at 642 fico (fair credit) and have previously filed for chapter 7 bk 4 years ago.. you may get lucky like I did you may not

I have the base level credit one card which I barely use because I’ve got other cards with way higher limits and perks. They started pestering me to get this card. I’m talking letters in the mail every week and daily emails. I recently got the Amazon prime chase card though, and don’t feel that even though I know I’ll get approved for this credit one card, it’s not worth a hard pull imo. The next hard pull on my credit will probably be for another chase card

Looks better on your credit report to have the cards with a longer history, when you cancel cards is like restarting the clock.

@@jt2428 yeah but it's not their card. It just uses their payment network. I would honestly apply for the Amex Everyday or Blue Cash, even the no annual fee Hilton or Delta cards before I applied for this card. Those cards are not that hard to get and are actual Amex cards so they'll get you into the Amex ecosystem

Credit one was sending me offer for the Amex card for 5000 with no annual fees I have the platinum card with a credit limit of $950 I had it for about 3 years From credit one Just waiting on the card to come in been a month...

Be careful with that. The credit one "Amex" has a $39 annual fee and isn't an actual Amex. It just uses their processing network.

@@objjr2079 The fee is automatically charged when you're approved. The fee is for access to the credit services, NOT for if you decide to use it or not. That fee will not be waived.
