I played this the night I almost died. That was Sunday night into Monday morning. I have a weak immune system due to having a really bad infection for 3 years that doctors did nothing about, it has permanently damaged my organs. Saturday night I started showing symptoms of Noro Virus. They were weak at first, but then got worse at 10 pm. I then spent 10 pm to 6 am battling for my life, and was finally taken to the hospital at 6 am. Sunday the doctors were trying to figure out what was going on, and I spent the whole day suffering (everything coming out wherever it could) and on IV fluids and medications. I was so weak I could barely walk. Sunday night they decided I'd be moved to CDA when a bed opened. Monday morning I was moved to CDA, and under close observation as every cell in my body screamed for help. I had a fever nearing 106, my legs shut down, I couldn't keep anything down, I needed a blood transfusion, I was on so many medications I could hardly talk. My head was pounding, I could hear my heart. I heard my demons whispering for me to join them, saw them in the shadows of the room, watching and hoping I'd become one of them. But I kept on fighting. I don't have much to live for, but I'm not going to let a disease take me out before I get to see my brothers marry their loves. I'm not going to disappear before 30, before I've helped as many people in my career as I could. I'm not going out before my cat, because if I disappear nobody will take care of him. He'll miss me, he'll always be looking for me like he always does when I'm gone for a day. I can't let nothing take me out before my cat. So I pushed on. With my few reasons, I pushed through the worst of the illness and made it into Monday afternoon. This song blared through my head as I laid there, watching the fluids slowly drip through my IV, watching as the blessing of life flowed into my veins. As soon as 1 pm, I was on the road to recovery. I got my leg functions back, I was able to hold food down, my fever went down, my body was receptive to medications. Don't give up, strangers. You may think you have nothing to live for, but when faced with the end, you'll find something to live for. Even if it's just for yourself, you'll find a reason to not give up so easily. Don't let any gods or deities decide your fate, take it into your own hands.

However, I can say that I believe the piano at the beginning, which repeats several times throughout the song at different speeds, conveys a lot of emotion. At first, it gives a reflective and nostalgic touch, but as it progresses and the 'piano' becomes faster, it gives you a sense of hope. Simply each part of the video conveys the emotion that you were looking for it to convey and that is why I consider it to be a great job.

There are two endings to chapter 2 of my D&D campaign, and this is PERFECT for the "Part 1 (Misery and Shattered Trust)" of the fight with the chapter's main character after her brother, the chapter's main antagonist, is killed (Bad ending; Good ending is they partially decapacitate him and use his sister's ability to break the device controlling him that's guarded by a spcial magic). Part 2 of the bad ending zoey fight will be "credits song of my death but im the final boss.". Epic!!!!!!!!!.

@@PRISTY1st I dont know the story behind credits song for my death but my campaign has a loooot of nuance that the players directly impact, even by being passive there is a dynamic that unfolds between each individual character, their rivals and friends, and the entire world's economy. Every action the players make has an effect

@@PRISTY1st Example if the rival of the anti-hero they normally would befriend in chapter 1 should get his hands on the Chaos stone earlier in chapter 2 he gains one of the abilities of Zoey's brother and unleashes a stronger version of it when the fight with her brother ends (regardless if they get the good ending or the bad ending AND regardless if they win or lose to Zoey). With the added power of the Chaos stone he uses one of his spacial magic abilities to physically steal the piece of Zoey's brother that allows him to use that special ability. If the party had gotten the stone the member who obtained it would gain a similar ability just for example if the antihero got it he would gain the ability to place a shadow version of himself inside the subconscious of a target (with a very high energy cost). The antihero's role is really just to introduce shop bargaining and skill studying and one of the elements that highlight the morals and ethics in the rest of the party as well as to have a relationship to the current main rival; storytelling and personal introspection stuff :)
