it used to be the way and no matter where you attended Mass , you could always follow it listening to the Latin hymns ... big mistake by mother Church , we should return to parts of the Mass in Latin ... Pax vobiscum .

The solemnity of Benedict XVI represented the most beatiful aspect of our holy liturgy. You can feel the sacred mistery of Jesus inside a Christian church. Hundreds of years devoted to demonstrate the love to our Lord and in latin, the most beatiful language of our Holy Church.

I just wish the church can go back to Latin Mass. I always have goose pimples all over my body anytime credo is sang in Latin. A deep feeling of supernatural connection.

After this beautiful celebration of holy mass by Pope Benedict, it is so painful to watch pope Francis attempt to celebrate mass . He gives the impression that he is bored to death, and rather be someplace else ! I pray that this pontificate will soon come to an end. I don't know how much longer I can stand it !

I'm not sure about the chasuble, but maybe what you are referring to is the fanon, which is the round vestment that is worn over the chasuble and under the pallium. Pope John Paul II wore the fanon only once. Pope Benedict XVI revived it.
