Or Christians with faith living as Jesus taught us. Most of the other aspects are symbolism. Action is more important - what do I do when I see a homeless person in front of the supermarket - what do I do when I see refugees - what do I do for the poor - what do I do when leaders are corrupt (Prophets Amos, Jeremiah and others are Clear on this ) - As Jesus told the apostles to allow others to preach and cast out demons in his name. He allows all Christians to worship him in their different styles and denomination. One body different parts. Or a tree with many branches.

Mass is literally God descending from heaven to enter into to us and it is the sacrifice of Christ represented to tell God the Father that the sacrifice of his son is not the most important thing there is literally no higher form of prayer as our Lord says “the poor you will always have but you will lot always have me” .

Me too! I was an Alter Boy (or Server as we were called back then) in the 60s to mid 70s. Pope Benedict's voice has this sorrowful, tone to it that makes me feel melancholic and yearning for years past when we Roman Catholics were so united by our faith & our ceremonial language, Latin. No matter where my parents dragged us around the world (Dad was a Diplomat) we could enter any Catholic church and we would feel right at home because all our churches said mass in ONE language... Latin. I still remember about 70% of the Latin prayers and songs... after all these years. My fsvourites are the Gloria, The Credo, The Misterium Fidei, The Pater Nostre, and The Per Ipsum... Ialso love the "Litany of the Saints" and all the Requiem songs for the Requiem Mass especially the "Luce eterna." It's so sorrowful
