I loved the trailer for this movie. They didn't reveal that he was fighting Drago until the last shot and when they did everyone in the theater went nuts.

I love the entirety of this story, but Viktor Drago was and is the highlight for me. A lot of people relate to wanting the love of their parents more than anything. All Viktor wants is the love and approval of his father. To make his father proud. Especially with his mother abandoning them both. Viktor lost the heart to fight through the second match after his mother walked out on him (again). A few pieces of common ground between Viktor Drago and Rocky Balboa (from the original '76 film) Both are close in age. Viktor is 28 here. Rocky was 30 (back then). Both fight in dark dingy clubs the first time we see them. Both take head butts from their first opponent, then quickly win by knockout. Both wear red and yellow robes, as well as white trunks trimmed in red. Both wear dark sweat suits and bluish caps against the cold. Both are often berated by their trainers, and talked down to like street bums by the people they work for (Gazzo the loan shark, and the Ukranian construction boss). Neither cared about the title. Rocky just wanted to go the distance with Apollo. Viktor only wants to make his father proud of him. Each in their own way, both Adonis Creed and Viktor Drago are "echoes" of Rocky for a new generation.

"Sins of Our Fathers" -was the films original 'sub' tiles Creed II: Sins of Our Fathers - the story of Apollo and Adonis, Ivan and Victor and even Rocky and Robert - Incredible film. That last shot of Victor and Ivan running together (and Ivan not in a car) is amazing.

But I’m not sure what Rocky’s sin ever was. He was always a great father to Robert (even during V, when he was preoccupied with Tommy). It seems like they just drifted apart, came back together, and then drifted again.

Rocky let Robert go because Robert struggled being overshadowed by Rockys accomplishments. Rocky knew trying to hold on to him would probably damage their relationship more.

the actor who played drago son played a character named razorfist in marvel's shang-chi and yes the actress who played drago's ex-wife was married to stallon when they filmed rocky 4 and she was also in an underrated stallon movie called "cobra" which he wrote when he was writing the story for "Beverly hills cop" which he was going to do before eddie murphy got the part because stallon had rewrote the scrip into a non comedy action movie which stallon inturn turned into the script for "Cobra"

i´m not sure we´ve seen rocky the last time. a cameo in creed 3 is always possible, because stallone often before said "this is the end" and then it wasn´t. secondly, he´s fighting with the producers to do rocky 7.

This movie kind of combines Rocky IV and Rocky II. Where in II the medical issue was with Adrian, in this one it was with the baby. In II Rocky needed Adrian's approval, this one Adonis needed Rocky's after each one initially said they shouldn't fight.

The emotional side and sensitive spot side of Rocky in Creed 2 are heart-wrenching and saddening he begs Adonis not to fight Viktor Drago in the ring and Adonis did not listen to his words and has an ego trip and resentment problem then Apollo's death haunts Rocky nonstop since he was brain damaged and retired from boxing and he lost family and friends even mickey paulie Adrian and he finally meets his grandson and Adonis realize that he was wrong and hurtful to Rocky with malicious words and regrets hurting his feelings and his adopted mother tells him to be there for his daughter Amara Creed and if he didn't do it for his daughter it would be horrible and devastating in Creed 2 Adonis would have live with guilt and regret and in Creed 3 Adonis fight his childhood friend Damian Anderson after he went to prison and wants glory and fame and a title shot from Adonis suddenly both friends forgive each other and overcome fear and guilt 😔 😭

When Adonis hitting the punching bag 🥊🥊👊👊 and break down crying in front of Amara was sad and heartwarming and he gets emotional 😢 😭 and starts crying because he wants to the best father that he wanted to be for amara and doesn't want his daughter become like him and in creed 3 he training amara to become a perfect good boxer and Adonis must fight his only friend Damien and his trainer (wood from the wire) tells him to let go of his guilt and fear and beat damien to humbleness and damien won't let it go adonis moves on from it 😭😭🥺🥺🥊🥊👊👊

@@ShaniceXO26 I was just thinking it would have been a nice send off knowing Rocky has a grandson to continue his family name it would have been nice to give Adrian some love besides the restaurant. They could have maybe done a variation of the name like Adrianna or something. This would have made the conversation between Rocky and Adonis funnier if he had said "what's wrong with Adrian?" instead of Kate or Emma, and he responds with " you do know she's black?" it was just an idea. I didn't mean any offense by it. I feel Adrian isn't as appreciated as much as she should be sometimes.

Ivan Drago wife was the main villain in the film not Viktor Drago he wants love and happiness and compassion from his dad Ivan drago and I feel bad for Ivan and Viktor I don't like his mother to be honest she was a terrible deadbeat mother through the movie and Adonis feel sorry for him and his dad and the creeds and dragos have giving each other sympathy expression 🥺🥺😢😥😥😭😭🥺🥺

I enjoyed this film because of the fights scenes was a lot better coming from the first creed film i just found it boring and uninteresting to watch. but creed 2 was done more in the style of the original rocky films and being rocky 4 was my fav out of all of the films you can see why i like this as it finished the story of so well
