Creed's comments at the end where he answers Max Kellerman's question about what he would say to his dad if he were here gets me every time. I lost my dad last year and there are moments where the pain feels raw all over again and hits me out of nowhere.

@James Rountree - I am sorry for your loss. While my dad is still with us my mom passed away 12 years ago so i understand the feeling of losing a parent. Thank you for watching our video. The moment you mention is very heart felt and helps capture some of the heart of the original Rocky movies.

Sylvester stallone won a golden globe for his performance in creed, how he was passed up on the oscar is beyond me, the scene when adonis finds out rocky is sick and rocky gives him a speech, that scene was the most emotional for me in the entire film, the guy adonis fights at the end of the movie, his name is tony belew and he was a real boxer from liverpool and only retired a few years ago

From the movie "Rocky" Rocky: "All I wanna do is go the distance. Nobody's gone the distance with Creed, and if I can go that distance see and that bell rings and I am still standing I am gonna know for the first time in my life see that I weren't just another bum from the neighborhood" The subtle beauty of that moment (because Stallone's acting has greatly improved) are the facial "micro-expressions" that clue you in that Rocky understands.

This movie is even better when you watch the Rocky 5 flashback scene with Rocky and Micky. Now everything Micky says applies to Rocky in these Creed movies.

Agree I love Creed!! Rocky 5 underrated tho!! Like in Rocky 5 how they went back to his roots of first 2 Rocky movies when he was the underdog before he reached fame. The dirty side of the boxing business with Tommy being manipulated by George. The end street fight was different but understandable of why it was a street fight instead of ring match!!

Apollo winning against Rocky in their secret 3rd fight explains why he wanted to fight Ivan Drago in Rocky 4. In Rocky 3, Apollo train Rocky not just to get the championship title back, but train him to the point where he was the best fighter in the world. So, if Apollo beat Rocky at his best, that gave Apollo confidence enough to know that he could still compete at a high-level to possibly be a champion.. So, it all makes sense.

All of the other fighters in this movie are or were legit professionals. During the filming of the last fight Stallone convinced Michael B. Jordan to legit take a punch from the fighter portraying Ricky Conlan (Tony Bellew). Tony only threw the punch at 80% power, but it was enough to legit knock Michael B. Jordan out cold.

Glad yall liked this movie :) i didnt care for it when it came out, but throughout the years, ive really come to appreciate it as part of the Rocky franchise. Just a heads up, the sequel is very emotional, kinda like the sequel to Rocky.. might wanna have them tissues prepared lol!

I loved your laughs at the funny parts Paul, and Emily's reactions with the sad parts, had me crying all over again. You both with the locker room scene were heartbreaking 💔 and just loved the part with you both when the Rocky music came in, that was a goosebump moment for sure. Glad you enjoyed it - glad you pushed through with the copyright and not give up on getting the video up - looking forward to see the last one, however sad to get to the end of it, but it was a great journey right! 🤗❤

I was working a lot when the movie released and was super tired so its not an indicator that i didnt enjoy the movie I just dont remember much of it. Emily hasnt seen anything so i am excited to see her reaction.

Great movie but totally unbelievable that the fight continues when Adonis is knocked unconscious. The ref never would have continued counting if he saw he was knocked out like that.

i try not to compare them to the Rocky movies but yes its better the R 5 , i like the way this movie is shot and Stallone should have won that Oscar but he did win the Golden Globe.

When Bianca said to Adonis that he doesn’t look like a boxer, and all boxers have a “street “type of vibe, she’s absolutely right. Some of the most dangerous and ferocious boxers don’t look like boxers. Manny Pacquiao, Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard, Sugar Ray Robinson, Héctor Camacho, Canelo Álvarez, and Floyd Mayweather… those boxers are some of the greatest champions of all time, and they don’t look like what most people would say “Fighter” would look like.

People have false impression of fighters due to movies giving them a false assumption what they look like. For example with MMA fighter Georges St-Pierre, where he looks like an average man at the bar. He got into so many bar fights with men who think they are tough guys picking on him for no reason. Then GSP has to put them in their place cuz they think he dont look like a fighter lol

Don't sweat it. I went to pieces when Rocky said Paulie's name, too. For all the difficulty he created in Rocky's life, he was an essential part of it. He was the man's best friend. Paulie may have been a pure grade: A asshole. But he was there throughout it all.

Every rocky fan needs to see the statue and the steps rocky ran up. It's one of the few movie scenes you pretend to be a part of. Even for just a minute. It's impossible to not throw your hands up just like rocky when you reach the top of those steps.

The Rocky steps were featured in Shazam. That film was also shot and set in Philadelphia. I was hoping for a Stallone cameo. Maybe a closeup shot of Sly saying something like "I used to run up and down those steps, too."

Hey you guys should react to the HBO series that gave Michael B Jordan his start; The Wire And Ryan Coogler also does the Black Panther movies. That last scene with Rocky going up the stairs has a while new meaning to me. I'm a recent cancer survivor and anyone who has been through chemotherapy knows that feeling. I could barely walk a block without needing to sit. Your mind says this should be easy but your body and they chemo says hell no. I hated that feeling. It's so vulnerable and scary. They got that part right. Great reaction!

As an actual boxer whos been in the ring with strong punchers, all of the audio effects for hard shoots to the head sound exactly like what I hear when I take a big shot to the head and the sound design for this movie in general is top notch
