I love this channel and the reviews you do. I've bought so many affordable fragrances on your reviews alone. Thank you for that. Unless Creed gives me a 50% or more discount on their fragrance, I will never buy a fragrance that is more money than my car note. Especially when their new batches are said to have horrible performance and longevity. I will take CDNIM or Mont Blanc Explorer over Aventus any day of the week. Unless I am in a room full of fragrance enthusiasts, the masses will never be able to tell the difference of what I am wearing, as well as whether or not its $400 or $25. Let's be honest, we are all wearing masks in the US, so who is really able to smell the fragrance I am currently wearing, let alone afford anything expensive with unemployment as high as it is?

I bought a sample and honestly I will stick to the clones. It smelled great but the longevity was a joke. Many of the clones are just fine with me. I had the dna down and it’s a bit tiring so after ending the curiosity I will never pay for a full bottle.

Great one..i think Aventus is a genius creation it changed the game of perfumery.it expanded the perfume world and will keep doing so.I think all the other fragrance brands owe aventus a lot..fantabulous video.

the pineapple vintage (emperor maximus extrait) is a home run! its my favorite of them, it projects and last longer than the other pineapple vintage that i have tried. i have the (intense the ONE) also, its nice but not as good, mildly sweeter in the pineapple scent, but almost disappeared after 3 hours, when the extrait was going strong 6 or 7 hours later. great videos mate.

Bond No9 Bleeker Street , Nishane Hacivat , but the the real toppers Roja Dove Elysium and the Grand Daddy (best in show) Boadicea the Victorious Consort , elegant sophisticated with a real hint off sexy.

Hi there I’ve just come across your channel and as a fan of and minor collector if men’s fragrances I love it. Boots used to produce their own fragrance called Journey back in the mid 90s when I last wore it. It had a mintiness which I’ve never been able to find anything similar since. This is one I will keep searching for. Among my collection I have a large Fahrenheit body spray from the early 00s, a Lynx own Tempest aftershave from around the late 90s/00s and a few other old school fragrances such as Jazz, Tsar and Paco Rabanne.

Not a fan of Cadrat Boise (too synthetic to my test) but Elysium is good (even though Roja probably have more interesting perfume, I agree). Even the latest batch of Aventus smells better than any clone, like you said none of those have that Aventus magic :(

Great video, Mr. Smelly! I remember my first sample of Aventus....pure magic. Had never smelled anything close to it. Seems like more than 10yrs - so much has changed since. Have you to thank for the early recommendations of Cedrat Boise, and have to agree on it's supremacy. As for a cheapie - I get more compliments out in the wild from a $4 rollerball of Al Rehab "Avenue". Very much an Aventus clone, w/ a super forward patchouli presence. The crowd loves it! You're not alone Mr. Smelly I also prefer Cedrat Boise to Aventus by a lot, much more interesting imo and layering with Tom Ford's Ombre Leather gives it a nice new twist. Thanks for the review I'm going to have to check out DUA and Alexandria because I now trust you have good taste : )

I imagine you will be inspired by Aventus and its 10 year anniversary. A "N&W England" with smoky notes of London Smog, earthiness of the Tube, bitumen of the motorways and overarching fog & drizzle, punctuated by occasional "bright" sunshine notes. Of course, there should be some sharpness (inspired by the shrill tones of a housewife and the boldness of a "page 3" (does that even exit anymore?) As a nod to the past a bit of ambergris to attest to the former glory on the sea and miasma for the plagues.

L'Aventure really is an accurate interpretation of the drydown of my 2015-2016 Aventus batches. I totally agree with that being listed. I used to use that as my gym fragrance. Even the different top notes make it solid as a standalone fragrance. Decent performance. Morning Chess by Vilhelm smells surprisingly similar to my smoky 14L01 batch. Dry down is pretty much indistinguishable from the real thing. Can't comment on the others, except CDNIM, which is okay. Still have a bottle of 11Z hanging around. Might try the Dua one to see if it gets close. Otherwise I'll keep saving the real thing for weddings and special events. Really not much different than the 2015-2016 ones, though.

I totally agree about Mancera Cédrat Boisé. I do own a genuine 2020 Creed Aventus and only a clone of Cédrat Boisé by Perfume Parlour. This clearly inspired by Aventus, not really a clone and what it does differently, it does it better, especially the dry down. But some say that Cédrat Boisé was reformulated...

If you like aventus but don't want to spend the money get the vibrant leather by zara, its similar in my opinion minus the fresh fruity notes and plus leathery smokey notes. Also hacivat by nishane a close to aventus fragrance with much better projections and longevity

Hello I love the intro. I truly love Aventus. Great information on the fragrance. Self made king🤔, I can see where the inspiration definitely matches the scent. I really like it. I did notice that it smells differently now than a few years ago so I’m happy you explained that. I have to get the armaf intense for hubby of course. I just put the al haramain in cart also. Have the Club De Nuit intense Man EDP...200 ml bottle. Compared it with my cousins Aventus, and , let me tell you, the smells are soooooo similar 》》 to the point of 95 plus percent. Pineapple right away and then comes the smokey scent. Subtle differences, but to the lay person, know one can tell. And club de Nuit intense gets plenty of compliments.

I have Emperor EDP and Emperor Extrait. None of them can replace Aventus. They are great, but don't have that depth. It's like Pepsi and Coca Cola. I almost never want to catch Emperor. If you want to smell like Aventus, just get Aventus, because sooner or later you will earning for it anyway. Just go for the original and forget on buying clones in the process.

Aventus smell depends on the batch you get. There are fruity, smoky, and well balanced batches. That is what frustrates folks about Creed Aventus. The inconsistency with the batches especially when you spend all that money.

Their Aventus clone is Executive Man. I believe their EMP may be a clone of one of those Emperors you offered here (amplified Pineapple note over their Executive Man). All the Stirling EdT's are great. Lots of projection... lasting most of the day. Both available as EdT's, and both are quite good. 50ml bottles, around $25 USD. I love Stirling. I have the Aventus clone, Executive Man EDT and I'd say it's very good but not great...smokier than Aventus. My favorite Stirling is their Sandalwood, which is unlike any Sandalwood out there and great to layer with D&G Pour Homme Vintage and other fall/winter fragrances.

Honestly, EMP's own smoke note is not much better than what you described... it is just a cheap clone frag... but, the dry down is great. Maybe Pineapple & Sea Sealt, more than Birch smoke. Definitely more Pineapple!😋 Razorock must have more of a U.K. presence, since Dan got there first. I would've thought Stirling would've been the natural first choice, considering the quality.
