I just bought my first bottle of Aventus. I love this stuff and would love to have it as my signature, but just like all of the KZbin reviews say, it is a very poor performer and is gone after 4-5 hours on my skin. Damn shame. So now I’m looking for a clone to supplement with. Took a whiff of Montblanc Explorer, and had a spray applied to the forearm. It’s not even close to Aventus in my opinion. Smelled like an old man’s cologne to me.

Great video Joy i have to agree Creed Aventus is not for hot weather not even the UK version of summer, definitely a cooler weather fragrance. I really really enjoy every hour of this including Royal Oud. Try Zara's Vibrant Leather too, it's a very good clone just weak in longevity. But just £20

i agree with you sir.i have tested a lot with Aventus and all its clones in different seasons and day/night....summer was never a right time.you need cool weather and breeze for the magic to unfold, i wish i had aventus when i visited uk twice :( i love the weather there....so peaceful and no body bothers you , you can make videos in the outdoors...beautiful skies and zen.UK is truly amazing .miss shopping and food too ;)

Im still going to get Club De Nuit, but I've heard alot of negative about the first hour and a half to turn me away from buying it at the moment. I now own L'Aventure, and comparing it side by side with Aventus, they smelled 99% Identical. Im very pleased with L'Aventure, its a beast on my skin. I'll probably buy a second bottle before I buy Club De Nuit. Btw, the chrome top on my bottle is still on perfectly, and I love its presentation.

Indeed. He's contradicting himself. My L'Aventure is on its way. Hope to try out and compare with CDIM that i got 2 weeks ago - 2018 made in france batch (not dubai) - lasts only 4-5hrs, disappointed. I always cross reference to Joy before buying any fragrance and I did the same before buying LAventure, but this review is a little discouraging.

@@mohdsaif5539 Wow, been months. Well, I find L'A is abt the same as CDIM. Both gives me 4-5 hrs the most. I posted somewhere abt CReed A. and clone comparison (my experience). Order best to worst in terms of longevity : CDIM - L'A - Afnan Supremacy Silver - Creed A. Yes Creed had the worst longevity. NOt sure FragX sent me a non original CA, but it was rubbish longevity.

Hey Joy, I love your channel and am subscribed. Can you do a vid on Al Haramain L’aventure femme( Aventus for her clone - the only one to my knowledge). It is little known and hard to get here in the usa. I have just ordered it for my fiancé and want to get your opinion on how close it is to Aventus for Her. BTW, club nuit intense man UAE version is not difficult to get, it’s impossible!! Armaf moved production to france a few years ago, so there is no more UAE cdnim being made. So if you can find a bottle, you have found a gem!

Totally agree bro. It would be difficult to beat Club. Hands down best clone in my book and extremely powerful. Two sprays will leave a mile long vapor trail. Some get dramatic about the opening, I enjoy it personally. 👍🏻

There was a very old fragrance called Derrick which came in the late seventies. It smelled similar to aventus. Think aventus was inspired by this one. It will be great if you could review Derrick.

I just bought a 'genuine' creed aventus decant form ebay, and also a dragon's creed aventus attar oil. I sprayed them on the back of each hand and both of them leave an oily residue. Would the genuine creed aventus do that? Thanks for your advice.

I'm glad you mention the heat bringing out the synthetic smell of the Armof Club de neit. Everyone was raving about it so i bought a bottle and I don't like it. I'm in Las Vegas, the humidity is 15% to 32% in the summer/spring/fall and the temps get up to 118 degrees fahrenheit, about 48 Celsius. This sent smells like a synthetic mess in these conditions.

Popstar Aqua? I've never heard of it and cannot locate it....who makes it? Also, nice comparison between the clones. Me? I have something like eleven Aventus clones and my favorites are Afnan Supremacy Silver followed by Insurrection Pure II, then L'Aventure and CDNIM (tie). Offhand, I would have to say my CDNIM is from France because it doesn't resemble the smokey batch. I had no idea there were two versions. Regardless, I almost always reach for Aventus...something about that burnt-pineapple and smokey-birch that can be copies but never cannot duplicated.

one thing is Aventus is much more on a different class fr me brother.i reach for it only when i need a performer and a sure thing for parties or dinner.it never fails to turn heads.the clones are great also...but as you sad the france and uae cdnim are slightly different, performs identical but openings are different :)

What's the date on the bottles you guys have? Mine is from France and seems smokey and the top note is similar to Fine Accoutrements Platinum aftershave based on Aventus with the pineapple top note. The production date on my bottle is May 2016? Could it be that, like Aventus, CdINM has slightly different batch formulations? Btw, how great would it be if all the fragrance houses followed their lead and put dates rather than batch codes on the bottles? The three I know of that do it are Armaf, Cuba and Thallium.

As suspected, my bottle is from France with a production date of 07/2015. Sure, there is a faint smokiness to this one but, after having several bottles of Aventus, this one leans heavy on the fruity side. Now you guys have me wanting to put my mitts on a smokey UAE bottle....even the Aventus Clones have batch variations. LOL!!!!!!

I just picked up Demeter's Pineapple Cologne to enhance the pineapple note of CDNIM. Some say they don't smell a pineapple note in the Made in France version (which is the one I have), but when I compare it side by side to Fine Accoutrements Platium aftershave (based on Aventus with a pineapple top note), they smell identical. I'm trying to determine if the best way to layer the two is to spray both or mix them in an atomizer.

You gotta try Pineapple Vintage and Pineapple Vintage Noir. They're easily the best clones of Aventus, and they use quality ingredients. It's $85, so it's more expensive than the other Aventus clones, but the quality is there.

I dont hate the intro of CDNIM!!! I love it too. Some people dont love it. Harsh a little yes. I love it. Smoky bitter lemon and black currant. Drydown awesome, BUT the performance is not super strong beastmode. Its good for the price of 35€shipped though, for 105ml*!!!!!! Love my CDNIM. Good juice. Mine is Made in France and I hear its the same, should be absolutely same thing. Oh! Yes made in France version better opening? LOL WOW... Cool, Joy. I believe both are awesome, either version is good. I got MIFrance European. Only dis-advantage of CDNIM bottle is the, sprayer'! Not great. hard to press a little :) but its satisfactory, it works OK. For the price its ok. Yep my neck also hurts, my throat. if spray there and its closed. can burn a lil

its an aventus clone which has feel of ck one summer frags with that lime and lemon opening which is more like acquatic version of Aventus :) im not sure where you can find in your area....i think you can ask the shop owners if they know of the brand.very cheap and quality fragrance
