I'm currently 20 years old so I wasn't able to experience Creed in their prime. But what i can say is that I love this band since I heard them for the first time 5 or 6 years ago. The first music i heard from them was "With Arms Wide Open" and Scott's accent got my atention right away. Then I heard "One last Breath" and that was the moment I knew this was going to be one of the bands that would be following me throughout my life. I love the lyrics, his voice, the melodies, their appearance. All this to say, I LOVE CREED! ❤

Obviously Creed was a massively successful band in their heyday, and reached greater commercial success than Alter Bridge. Although, I'm not sure album sales is the most accurate comparison metric. If comparing album sales, you have to consider that Creeds height was in the late 90s at a time where people were still buying albums. Alter Bridge was mainly throughout a time where album sales plummeted throughout all of music, and the digital era completely changed the landscape of music sales. Two very different playing fields.

Every time I watch the new Creed 2.0; I Just can't get over how truly HAPPY and appreciative Scott is, and the rest of the band really are. Scott seems so Happy to be singing to people again. The very first time I heard you guys I was going to work with a buddy he was about 10 years older, back in 1998 in Omaha, NE. Well, he played "ONE" and when the part "Take my Hand, be my brother came on" he turned to me in the passenger seat, and we shook hands. So now every time that song came on at that part, we would do that. Then, the following year you happen to be coming to OMAHA Oct 17th, 1999, I believe with collective soul. Then, you guys broke up, but I always had my CD. And SCOTT I got to tell you something man and this is 100% truth, I love signing in my vehicle and you guys are the only bad I will sing in my car at least 3imes a day, without it even playing and that is truth Scott. It's really hard for me to describe what seeing Creed back together feels like. I was 13 when I first listened to Human Clay. Do you know what that sounds like to a 13 year old with very little musical exposure? It makes them sound like everything else is backround noise. Actually I have kind of judged every other rock/metal/whatever to them because of this. I imagine a few other people might feel the same. They really are the standard for whatever genre they have created. With that said since then (hearing Human Clay) at least once a year I have revisted their music because I simply can't help it.
