That's pretty cool! He is still doing a solo tour too. As a matter of fact, my husband surprised me a couple of months ago with tickets to his solo show next Friday (June 28th). I was lucky enough to see Creed twice but it's been 22 years 😧 since the last and my hubby has never seen any of the guys. That makes it special already, but it's also my birthday, which is a pretty cool birthday present! He has Hinder and Saving Abel as the support acts. All of his solo albums are pretty great, especially the latest one. It's weird at first not hearing Mark playing while Scott sings, but a lot of Scott's solo songs are structured a little lighter which can be nice change. He still performs some of the Creed hits too. A single in the new album is a duet with Dorothy Martin of the band Dorothy. Hearing their voices together still makes the hairs on my neck stand up! We saw Dorothy in 2022 when they opened for Shinedown and fell in love with her voice. I hope she teams up with Scott again.

I did listen to stapp and Tremonti on their solo careers… but I never enjoyed them as much as I did when they were together…. They rocked out and earned their stripes. Music is subjective and not everything is always someone’s cup of tea, but credit should always be given where due. That’s the point I’m trying to make. These guys are legends and an awesome band, they got where they got for a reason.

Unfortunately interest in rock music started declining in the early 2000's. Growing up in South Florida, the only FM station that played rock (for decades) stopped in 2004... the same year Alter Bridge formed. Of course everything now is mostly streaming, which really saturated the music market with more pop songs that are easier to pump out (ie. no one has to learn an instrument to make a hit song).

That's Eric Friedman. He is a friend of Tremonti. Been playing with them on tours since 2009 or so. He plays in the Tremonti solo metal band as well, and also used to play in the killer band Submersed.

Many don't understand Creed individually their members have gone on to make great music over the past 20 years Scott's solo work Tremontis and Alter Bride have all done amazing music. Creed is actually underrated and are a true super group. Higher means so more now than it did when I was in my early 20s when this 1st came out. Glad to see they are back!
