Mississippi here. I mostly fish for largemouth bass and love it. I also enjoy going to the Gulf twice a year and fishing for bull Red fish. Love it when a big bull hits that shrimp and starts dragging line. Two years ago my 88 year old father caught a 45lb black drum fish. It took him 20 minutes to get him on the boat. We had a blast! Cool video Fletcher! I enjoyed that. One tip, in small creeks like that in the warm months, I always wear green or camo. Hat too. Really helps with not spooking the fish. That last fish was 100% smallie. Many smallies have red eyes

Solid trip! That's a great creek to fish when nobody's around. Those are mostly going to be Redeye x Smallmouth hybrids. I believe the redeye were introduced to both the South Chickamauga and North Chickamauga creeks several decades ago as a project to bring more redeye to southeast TN. You'll still find a few pure Smallmouth and Redeye on those creeks, but they're few and far between. Always love getting those on the fly!

I'm from Chicago Illinois. This year was my first year bass fishing and got hooked!! I started in June. Took me over a month to catch my first bass because I didn't know what I was doing. Finally got to watching your videos and other bass fishing videos and that helped big time!! My pb thus far is 4.6lb largemouth out of a pond in Chicago. Pretty cold out here now so our bass fishing season may be over. Can't wait til next year.
