I’m pretty sure that first fish was a Warmouth. They’re a cross between bluegills and bass. They’re mean little bastards. Lol!

Not being a dick, but a war mouth is its own species within the lepomis family. Not a hybrid, I also thought that as well until a biologist friend was fishing with me and educated me on the differences in the lepomis family.

Dude, those are some mini tanks! I've only been fly fishing in Austin twice and was able to catch one of my faves, Rio Grand Cichlid. Next time I go visit my brother I/ll have to find these Austin Mini Tanks!

Thank you! Oklahoma seems like it has great fishing! I went through Broken Bow when I was driving home from Missouri last year and made a last minute effort to catch a trout out there. I completely missed every fish though so I’ll be going back soon!
